some things I like

I went to the Elis and John Crossed Wires show, and for some reason, afterwards I sat in a café and wrote down everything I could remember in my notes app. I added some other things later that day and yesterday, then put it into a document.

i particulary love and enjoy the elis and john pod eps where john is in a great mood (often post-holiday) as the vibes are immaculate and john is infectiously silly. there's almost a bit of a role reversal and elis reacts to john in a deadpan way

I watched BBC Sherlock and then read all of the Sherlock Holmes stories about 6 years ago. I'm currently watching the Granada Sherlock Holmes TV series, and I love it. I've forgotten most of the plot points from the books, so most things are a surprise! Brett is excellent as Holmes, and Burke's Watson is like the human embodiment of a teddy bear.

I really liked this week's episode of Hard Launch, as they didn't shy away from more emotional/heavy Pride-related topics, but they were still their usual silly selves. Going from Dan's traumatic closeted childhood to Crazy Frog is exactly what I'd expect from them.

I found it quite emotional to see Dan wear his 2019 Pride outfit in this week's Hard Launch episode. Seeing 2026 Dan, with much more relaxed and confident body language, with an absolutely huge smile, on the set of a podcast that's about him and Phil being open and free, wear an outfit that he wore when he was freshly out of the closet and readjusting to that huge change... man.
