HIM's first album is so incredible. my dudes really came out of the gate like here's our first album its called greatest love songs vol. 666 and theres only 9 songs but theres 66 tracks, 10-65 are all silences of varying lengths and 66 contains a hidden demo all so the total time of the album is 66 minutes and 6 seconds long. and all the lyrics sound like a hopeless romantic vampire singing about all of the loves he's lost...like the goth drama of it all
also there's this which is so fucking funny and I didn't know about it before now
"I want this to sound shitty and our guitarist is too good to make it sound bad, quick give me that guitar before he comes back." absolutely incredible.
