I reblog only #Sims3CC and try to leave out Adfly Links - sometimes I give Sims4CC a like. My Blog is nearly only a #CCFind, but my Reblogs focus on what I adore, mainly CAS and Deco, but Equestrian Stuff, Mods and Tutorials, too.

So, this is a lovely hairstyle that I would've never found if it wasn't for the request. I forgot to take pics of it, but this hair had some sideburns that took away from the beauty of the hair: I removed those. Also fixed some minor clipping issues and added a lower poly version.
Both are lower than the original one (30k), but the 25k one isn't decimated. The reduction is caused by deleting pieces of mesh.
It's non-default, but I think I will use it for a default replacement one day =)

âIf anyone is interested, Iâve updated the fixes for decrapped store content. More fixes have been added and some hidden stencils have been restored. I also fixed the endless loading screen glitch that used to occur with buydebug on.â
Can't believe I'm making another post about Adf*y in 2021 but here we go...
I'm sure you all know the new adf*y page which (i'm pretty sure) adf*y skipper can't skip anymore, the one where it asks to send notifications and won't let you proceed until you let them send notifications.
I accidentally just allowed one of these notifications (not at home and using a janky mouse on a pillow, keeps going crazy), so I immediately headed to my chrome settings to get rid of it.
I'm going through blocking everything before I delete it (just so I feel better about it truly being gone lol) and I see this:
I'm thinking, what the hell is a payment handler and why is it set to allow?? That super doesn't sound good...
And after some googling I find yeah, it's probably not great.
So, what's a payment handler?
Basically, it's when google saves your payment details to autofill later on when you're making an online purchase. So that includes your credit card, debit card, paypal, ect, details.
(Source - askcybersecurity.com)
Now these are usually fine on legitimate sites but this site specifically:
You just google 'christianivory.pro' and every result is how to get rid of it because it's malware.
(That picture was after I cleared the cookies it had already stored, no idea what they were)
(btw, I wouldn't recommend clicking on any of these since malware/viruses are often hidden behind fake anti-malware ads/programs)
Luckily I don't keep any of my payment details saved so I'm pretty sure I'm fine after deleting it and MalwareBytes or Windows Defender hasn't detected anything.
I can't say for sure what it would have done if I hadn't of deleted it, it seems to mostly be notification spam but the fact that it was trying to access my payment methods doesn't sound all that great.
Even if having the payment methods allowed doesn't do shit, I've had money stolen from me through an adf*y virus before (source - my tumblr)
Like I said, I'm pretty sure I got lucky because I don't save those things but I'm going to offer a hypothetical situation which could be extremely likely in our community specifically;
Lets say I'm a 14 year old simmer who uses their parents computer to play the sims.
I've recently discovered custom content and my favourite creator uses adf*y, but since I'm young and new to the community I have no idea that adf*y can be bad and I trust this creator so they would never link me to anything that could harm my computer... right?
So I accept that adf*y notification and don't think anything of it, I get the CC I really like and I'm happy.
But that notification I just accepted has saved my parents credit card details. I'm sure you can guess where the rest of this situation goes.
So this is me, creator to creator, telling you need to stop. I know finding a source of income can be awful right now, but your source of income could be coming at the expense of someone else who did not agree to this.
If you think your content is worth a price then I urge you to start a Patreon, Ko-Fi or even a paypal because these are platforms that are safe for both parties and are OPTIONAL.
Adf*y is not optional for the downloader.
Stop putting the younger and more susceptible people in our community at risk.
As creators it is likely that we gain a larger following so stop taking advantage of that.
Especially if you're older or are someone who preaches the safety of our younger members in this space, step up and actually practice what you fucking preach instead of just saying it for likes and reblogs.
I am genuinely sick of this, I've been in this community for over half a goddamn decade now and I've posted before about adf*y, as have dozens of other people and this shit is STILL happening.
I am so close to wiping my old laptop and recording myself going through creators adf*y links and downloading as many malicious things as I can JUST to prove to people that adf*y is not safe.
And no, I wouldn't blur out blog names, I would specifically be calling people out on their shit.
This isn't just petty simblr drama, this can actually affect peoples lives.
TL:DR;
It's Adf*y?? We all know it's bad, stop using it for the sake of our community members!?? I'm gonna start calling people out for pretty soon??
STOP PISSING WHERE YOU EAT
how to remove notifications on chrome:
Checking/removing payment methods on chrome:
I'm sure there are some of you who will take issue with my post for whatever reason so:
1. Don't comment saying that we should just keep downloading however many adfl*y skippers or avoidant addons or be careful about what we click, that is not the point of this post.
We shouldn't HAVE to do that just to get cc, and new/young community members DON'T KNOW THIS.
2. SimGuruDrake explicitly saying creators cannot use permanent paywalls
source (sims forums)
video on adf*y (old but still relevant info)
video (this dude basically just speedruns getting malware from link shorteners and the ads on the sites lol)

I have something a little bit different for you all today! As much as I love the gardening skill in the The Sims 3, Iâve always disliked how round the fruit trees are. In my opinion, the fruit trees (a.k.a. ambrosial trees) from The Sims 2: Seasons look much more realistic, so I converted the mesh and made a default replacement to bring them into the Sims 3! This project would not have been possible without Lyraleiâs Default Replacement Tutorial.Â
There arenât any growth states between planted and mature, but there are proper textures for Fall, Winter, Wilted, Dead, and the Money Tree. The mesh itself has 1794 Vertices and 1903 Faces.
Place this package file in your Mods -> Overrides folder.

Another way to bring multiple sims to your lots! Can your PC handle it? đ - desiree-uk
newpaladinx333 mod notes:
Welcome Mat Overview
The welcome mat can bring many sims to any lot!
Do you have a community lot no one visits? Does your sim own a business that could use more traffic? Are there lots in your neighborhood that are downright desolate? If so, I may have the object for you!
In one of my games I had a sim that owned an arcade. The arcade was a large lot full of fun items. The only problem with the lot was the number of sims that used it. There were never more that two or three sims at a time and the place looked deserted! That was the reason I created the Welcome Mat.
The Welcome Mat is an innocuous round carpet that can be placed on a community lot to draw a crowd. The object will invite sims to a lot up to a limit that you set. Once on the lot the sims are free to do as they please.
Welcome Mat Features:
-Sims are invited slowly over time to prevent overwhelming surges of sims.
-Configurable invite speed.
-Configurable max sim limit.
-Set an opening time and closing time for the lot.
-Include or exclude Sims from being invited based on age and/or gender.
-Include or exclude supernatural sims (any occult type) from being invited.
-Sims from the active household are never invited.
-Sims who are at work or school are never invited.
-Sims can be sent home when the lot closes.
-Configuration report shows you all the settings at a glance
-Sims are automatically greeted, so a business can be run on a residential lot.
Note: My next object will make running an actual entertainment business possible. Stay tuned.

This tutorial only covers where to get it, and how to install it for The Sims 3 specifically, and add presets to the presets folder.
So to begin, download the GSHADE installer here.
I use Windows, so I downloaded that one.
Then go to wherever you downloaded it to, and click/run GShade.Latest.Installer.
Select your language, then in the License Agreement screen, hit I Agree.
Then, in the Choose Target Executable Location window, click on Browse, then navigate to your install folder.
Mine was installed with Origin onto my "F" drive, so I navigated to SSD(F:) > Program Files (x86) > The Sims 3 > Game > Bin. This path will be different for everyone, especially if you got your game off of Steam, or by other means.
In here, you need to find The Sims 3 icon that has the biggest file size, for mine, it's TS3, so I chose that.
On the Choose GShade Settings And Presets screen, tick the 32-bit box, and the DirectX 9 box.
Then under Hooking, I just ticked Normal Mode.
Scroll down some more and you'll get to the optional settings, so if you're trying to convert Reshade presets to GShade, you might wanna look into that more, I don't really have any I want to convert, so I suggest you look up a more detailed tutorial on that or check out the GPosers site for more info on how exactly that all works.
So for a fresh install we'll just stick with these boxes, but mainly the last one because it adds an icon to your desktop for an app that makes installing GShade binaries into your other games a lot easier, and also uninstalling them as well.
Under Final Fantasy XIV Presets you can tick any and all you want, they're presets created by Final Fantasy XIV players that are preloaded and ready to use if you wish.
When done, click Install.
Then wait until the green progress bar is full, and the Next button is no longer grayed out, then click that.
In the Installation Complete window, it'll give you an option to change the save location of any screenshots you take using GShade, similar to Reshade, feel free to change it, but if you're fine with what's already in the box, just click Finish.
Now to install any presets you've downloaded, like my Pines preset, it's as simple as moving the config file you downloaded to your Program Files (x86) > The Sims 3 > Game > Bin > gshade-presets folder, so in other words, it'll be in the same folder as those icons you navigated to earlier.
Open the gshade-presets folder, and throw the preset in there, and you're good to go.
When you launch The Sims 3, a little window will pop up at the top telling you, you were successful.
Follow its instructions to continue onto the the UI screen.
GShade looks and works exactly like Reshade, so if you're familiar with Reshade 3, 4 or 5, you shouldn't have any issue working the rest out from here, and if you're not familiar with them, there are tons of tutorials on how to use the UI, switch presets, and create your own presets, and use the shaders. Even if it's a tutorial for The Sims 4, it will work the same for The Sims 3, it all works about the same in every game, that's the magic of Reshade/GShade.

Knitting!
This mod adds a knitting interaction and skill to the game.
To get started, buy a pair of knitting needles. You'll also need to purchase yarn to knit with. The knitting bag can be used to store knitting needles and yarn, so if you have a family of knitters, or just a sim who likes to knit an awful lot, it's a convenient way to keep the items together.
You can knit items or just practise. Skill up to get better at making more advanced projects.
Traits will affect how fast, successful, and happy sims are at knitting, and there are 6 custom moodlets related to knitting.
There are few things I want to look into adding/changing, so there will likely be updates coming up.
Thank you for all the support and kind words! I really hope you like the mod <3
Update v1.4 for Czech games - fixed the Czech STBL so it should now work properly. Let me know if you still have issues with any blank strings :)
Nothing else changed, so if you don't have this problem there is no need to redownload.
(Hoping to get the next update out soon though, and it's a more exciting one ;))
Get a big sniff o' that pollen, for flower arranging has arrived to Sims 3!
To start, purchase the Flower Arranging Table from Buy mode in Hobbies and Skills.
Before a Sim has learnt the Flower Arranging Skill, you can Dabble at the table until you get a skill point. Then after that, you can start making flower arrangements, learning new ones as you skill up.
This mod comes with 15 new harvestables - all flowers converted from Sims 4. These are used to make the arrangements.
There are a lot of flower arrangements you can make - I converted ~40 from the Sims 4, and there are 3 made from Seasons' Wildflowers. Once made, they give off a nice scent for Sims around them, but after some time (default 48hrs) they will start to smell and attract flies, so you might want to throw them away then.

hiya! last anon here. i found a way around the unable to export rig from s4s (i just used katverse's rigs) but now im still unable to export a mesh for objects to pose with. i was originally using blender 2.79 but read somewhere that s4s is only compatible with 2.76 but after switching it still doesnt work? my s4s is up to date as well
it's probably the version of blender you're using. s4s is weird as hell. i use 2.78c (as close to 2.79 as you'll get) and s4s works with that
Notes: They are under Deco/Misc/2000§ and all have 1 swatch each, not CAStable.
New deco for your community lots? AND it lights up at night??? Sign me up, haha!!
Well, uhhh, it's signs - one for a car wash, one for a gas station and one for a burger place. All have been resized a bit and I made the burger sign so that the wing? Bow? Round thingy fits perfectly on a 1 story building. Sorry for the crappy picture, taking photos is not my strong suit. Oh, and these are lot deco, not landmarks, as in not available in edit town!!! I only named them like this because they are landmarks in TS4...wait, should I enable these for edit town mode? Nah...
And where do I get the gas station or the car wash, you might ask? Well, both deco buildings have been already converted a long time ago by AroundTheSims3 here.
