One of the biggest changes to this patch is probably the UI, a couple of new things introduced while some of the old ones got improved on.
1. Current Information Window
This window starts to record a multitude of information the moment you log on your character. It will record your AP/GP gains, experience gains, kinah spent, current completing quests etc, just to name a few. It’s a nice touch to players who feel the need to keep track of everything regarding their characters.
The information resets if you log out or select the reset button.
I think this is the part that will cause old timers to rage.
Previously, inventory expansion required a complex route of kinah, quests and expansion coupons from the cash shop. As of this patch, all inventory expansion has been simplified to using only kinah to unlock.
Naturally, it gets more expensive as you work down the rows. For players who have already expanded that far, the final two rows costs 96,000,000 kinah and 192,000,000 kinah respectively to unlock. This brings the current max inventory slots to 126.
Just a small upgrade, quest mobs are now denoted by the blue quest icons. Makes it easier to spot rather than relying on the usual complicated approaches.
We had the same stat window since launch, it’s about time it got some changes. Offensive and defensive stats now have a more organized display of data.
5. Improved Equipment Window
Previously, you had to dig through the options window to choose whether if you wish to display your helm/plume skin. Now, you can simply check or uncheck a tiny box next to it.
There is also an improvement done to equipment swapping (if I interpreted this correctly). Every equipment slot has this option of checking the available equippable item that’s currently in your inventory, which makes it extremely easier to gear swap now, especially for classes that does a great deal of equipment swapping (that even extends to accessories and headgear).
You can now do away with complicated equipment switching macros.
6. Improved AP/GP/Rank Window
A fancier version of the current window, also displays the next rank requirements if you’re climbing the GP ladder. Really fancy icons for ranked positions (literally a star officer).
For players who switch titles often, you’d often find it a hassle to switch around. The title window now displays titles (both for show and stat usage) in a way that’s more pleasing, you can also favourite the titles that you think you would use often.
