This one's kinda short might make a part two later on when writers block is messing me up.

I struggled to try to find a good way to make this actually good and I kinda wanted to do that fact that (name) can shift from mermaid (merman) to human.

After a while footsteps began descending from the stairs. Soon the whole family was in the living room.

"Yeah don't mess it up, Tim!" Dick says which earns a playful glare from Tim. He looks back at Bruce and nods. "I promise, Bruce." He says. "I'll keep her safe."

Bruce smiled a bit. "Good. Now get home safely you two." He says. Tim smiled and left with (name).

"I'm glad that went well." Tim says as (name) smiled and nodded. "I can see that your family really cares about you, Tim. Even if you all bicker sometimes." (name) says with a laugh. Tim chuckled. "True, but they absolutely adored you." He says as he places a kiss on her cheek. "Now how about we watch a movie once we get home?"

Bruce came home slightly bruised and cut after a night on patrol. He quietly walked into his and Ophelia's bedroom and closed the door until the light from the lamp flicked on.

"You're home late." Ophelia says trying to be stern, but notices his cuts and bruises. "Oh Bruce..." she weakly gets out of bed.

"You shouldn't be moving or worrying too much, Ophelia." Bruce says. "You're pregnant." He grabs the first aid kit and walked up to her knowing she'll want to patch him up.

"You missed your birthday party and you come home beaten." Ophelia says. "I can't help but worry about you, Bruce." she takes the first aid kit and started to clean and bandaged his cuts.

Bruce stays silent as she cleans his wounds. "You're glowing. You know that?" He says. Ophelia blushed a bit and frowns. "Don't start." She scolds. Once she finishes cleaning and patching up his wounds Bruce changed into his sleepwear and yawned.

"Thank you. And sorry for making you worry." Bruce says as Ophelia smiles a bit. "Apology accepted." She says. He gently rubs her stomach. "I still can't believe we're having a daughter." He says. "Our little girl."

She smiles lovingly and pecks Bruce on the lips. "Happy birthday, Bruce." She says. "Thank you, my love." He says as he helps her get comfortable in bed. "Now rest."

Ophelia sighs. "Alright, alright." She giggles as she covers herself with the blanket. Bruce stayed awake until Ophelia went asleep. He gently grabs one of her hands and kissed the knuckles. He then got comfortable in bed and fell asleep.
