Snaps from Chile

A great sunset at Morhuilla, Chile. It had rained the previous days, and the clouds were receding leaving a wonderful and colorful sky.

A small creek in the shade. Nice detail on the moss and the rocks.

One with the family. Santiago, some 50km by winding roads into the mountains.

Morhuilla Beach, Chile. This is about 7 hours south from our capital, Santiago. Sun was to my right shoulder so I used my polarizer.

This is also San Fabian de Alico, Chile. It’s a couple of kilometers into the valley from the other shot. The sun was setting and the light was enough to shoot without the ND filter.

This is as far away from Santiago (due east) I could get into the mountains and still have a road and thermal water ponds close-by. There are other roads, of course, but this is one I took a month ago. Now (jul 13, 2015) it must be full of snow...
