I've been wanting to make my own spidey Will design for a while, but didn't get around to it until now (thank u brand new day hype😝) I didn't originally intend to do a full design for Mike, but I couldn't resist giving him some red hair as a nod to the original MJ (+ his wish of having a hot orange mohawk) My AU takes place in the 2000s! They're the ages of their s5 counterparts, just in the context of the 2000s instead of the 80s. Mostly wanted an excuse for them to have flip phones🫣 but also 2000s tech and such is just fun in general😛 Also in this AU, Dustin is kind of the Ned character; he accidentally finds out Will's identity first, and he turns into the "guy in the chair". Lucas figures it out next; he puts together all the pieces after noticing Will's odd behavior, and soon confronts him about it. Mike is of course the last one to learn :] Will wanted to keep his identity a secret from Mike the most; Mike isn't out as bi (yes he's bi in this AU as he is in my general hc😁) to ANYONE, not even Will!!…yet he gets the courage to come out to Spider-Man bc of the crush he has on him (which leads to the spidey kiss). He's never once shown that he has feelings for Will (even though we all know he does), so Will is scared to reveal his true identity, fearing that Mike will lose all interest ☹️ (but ofc it all ends up ok hehe)
