sulli.
Hello everyone, we know we have not been very active as of recent but we would like to take a moment to acknowledge the tragic news that has occurred today.
Sulli was a former member of the girl group f(x), a talented singer, actress, feminist, but most importantly, another human just like you and I. F(x) may have not been a group you were a fan of, maybe you’ve never heard Sulli’s music or seen her act but she was a very strong individual who, like many other artists, had to face negative comments from anonymous sources constantly.
I encourage you all to be kind to others and if you do not have something nice to say about an idol, a group, or just another person in general, then please refrain from saying it. It is easy to hide on the internet and believe that your words don’t hurt others but it can and it does. Idols are not invincible, fame does not make you invincible, and in the end, there’s only so much a person can take before feeling like there’s no other way out.
We are all in shock from this news but please keep in mind that those who knew Sulli personally, such as her friends and family, are having it much harder than us to understand and cope with the situation. If you decide to say anything to them through their social networks, please respectfully leave them messages of your condolences, kindness and support.
We unfortunately had made a post like this almost two years ago but we will say it again: depression is silent, you may never know what a person is truly thinking or feeling. If you or someone else you may know need help please talk to someone you can confide in or visit here. We may not be the most active network but we will do our best if you feel like reaching out to us will help you as well.
Rest in peace Sulli. Thank you for being a wonderful hope to the industry.
