I hate posts like this. One, you know that if people didn’t talk about this, they’d be saying “nobody is talking about this because homophobia”. You can’t win. Two, in what world is mourning a tragedy “trying to score ally points”? This is one of the worst mass shootings in American history, if not the absolute worst. In my opinion, it is doing a disservice to the victims to tell people who would otherwise be vocal in their support to back down. The victims and families associated need all the love they can get sent their way.
