I was in the shower in a hotel room at 6am because i have a flight and all that when i hear the faintest xylophone sound. I was sitting on the ground with my back against the frosted glass brushing my hair(i forgot my brush and had to buy a shitty one, the untangling was taking ages). I don’t know how to explain the design of the room so I will try to draw it below
My first thought is that it was the door next door, but the sound was too close. My second thought was my phone was still playing a video???? But I hadn’t opened it yet. Then I thought that someone was inside the room and was playing the xylophone for some reason.
Okay, so, I would like to say that I hadn’t eaten anything decent in 36 hours-ish and hadn’t really gotten a nice sleep (I couldn’t sleep)
ALSO the lights were off, partially. They were all off except this large blue one that I kept on because I liked it. Also I didn’t have my glasses.
So here I am, hungry, sleep deprived, unable to see clearly, 85% sure that someone is in my room playing the xylophone. I thought “Ok I’ll turn the water off and If the voice stops I’ll kms [keep myself safe]”
Then I turned off the water to reeeeeally listen…
It was my fucking Nana ringtone
I had another god forsaken alarm because I’m notoriously known for waling up at the 14th alarm
Moral of the story is guys, eat, sleep well, and train yourself to wake up at a normal hour. Basic human things I guess???
