Today marks 5 years since I started my YouTube editing journey! This video above was part 3.8 of @lockstin_gnoggin The End series and the beginning of my career! Releasing on the 9th of November 2016 (which does mean i started editing before then but idk the true date so this is fine)! When I first started I was on a very small income and it wouldn’t have been possible had I not been living at my mums! Don’t feel bad about moving back home after uni, having that financial mattress to fall back on is nothing but a good thing, use it wisely! Because once you move out you wont have that financial freedom to experiment! But nowadays I’m financial stable, working for Youtubers with a combined 2,626,000 subscriber count and with the world opening up hopefully some opportunities to travel! It’s not been easy, especially during the pandemic. I was lucky enough to keep my job during those tough times but without the weekend to break up the work weeks it just fried my brain. Many therapy sessions and a month off later and I’m back to a fairy stable mental state but fuck me, never again. If you’re self employed please take breaks!
