Human/Tiny

A human is quarantined during an illness outbreak, forcing a borrower to desperate/risky measures for food.

A tiny is accidentally locked in solitary confinement w/ a hardened prisoner.

After a cave-in traps a hiker, they come across a civilization of borrowers and must convince them they pose no threat.

Sizeshifter

A giant who can shrink down to human size is stuck in a hole w/ their only human friend, with no hope of rescue (unless...?)

After a cave-in traps two friends, they come across something that causes one of them to start growing and growing...

A character with a condition causing uncontrollable and unpredictable size changes has an episode in which their growth traps both them and an associate in a small room together.

Giant/Human

A human who works for a supernaturall/'freak' zoo accidentally gets locked in the enclosure with a giant.

As punishment for a crime, a character is chained to a giant "beast."

More borrower Myaaaa!!!! (And human Oliver hands) Drew this on my iPad as opposed to Clip Studio on my 'puter 🙂‍↕️ been messing around with Gradient Maps so was practicing that as well as hands. I feel like my style changes a bit depending on the hardware I'm drawing on 😭 oh well!!!

I really wasn't sure about posting just one pic at a time or not, but I guess I'm just dumping all the ones I had so far of the original version of The Big Merman AU! Tho for the original, I'll just be calling it The Giant Merman! Also the second pic is an alt of this one (I included both the shaded and non shaded just so people can see his coloring better).

I honestly don't have a whole lot figured out so far and the differences, but obviously they are still quite similar to Bobby and Pietro in looks but also in personality a bit. I think they also kind of grew as their own characters just by being in a different kind of setting, so I felt it worked branching off. I came up with the names Sylvanus for the mer and Ronan for the human.

I still am trying to figure out if I'd have it where Sylvanus actually didn't speak English at first, but if he didn't, I think he would learn surprisingly fast bc he's very intelligent. I think Ronan would also be a bit more into science and would basically spend a lot of time tutoring Sylvanus on language and all he knows about how the world works. I think Sylvanus might actually get better at spelling than Ronan is haha One other difference I guess would be that he'd be buck ass naked when he first comes to land haha I guess there are a bit more similarities to Splash with some of this. Regular fish out of water kind of story. But I think it might be fun to have as a book maybe if I can get that going~

I hope you guys also enjoy these original versions! I still will continue having fun with the mer AU as is with Bobby and Pietro as well, but I did also want to do this!
