Need Advice From Other Permaregressors!
I got a really important question.
Is there any place I can learn adult skills in a child-like way?
I'm having trouble learning how to drive, read/pay bills, and other things (I'm learning REALLY late, mid-20's). I keep losing focus cause my brain doesn't wanna work if the material isn't presented in a fun way. I can blame my combined autism/ADHD for that >:/
Here's a list of things that can help, besides first hand experience (which I don't have time for rn):
Playing games
Using coloring books, physical or digital
Watching funny educational videos
Listening to songs
Anything else you can come up with!
If anyone has any tips, please tell me! It would genuinely help me out so much.

A Message For All Caregivers
ʚ♡ɞ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚ʚ♡ɞ
If you're a caregiver, you probably have experience taking care of little ones. You likely have the drive and need to take care of a little and provide for them a safe, loving space where they can cope with regression in a healthy way.
There is nothing wrong with this. In fact, I think it's very admirable to want to take care of a little.
However, please remember to take care of yourself too.
Ask yourself: have I eaten today? Have I drank enough water? Have I taken my meds (if necessary)? Are there any chores or important things I need to do? And, most importantly, am I in the right headspace to be taking care of someone else?
We don't talk enough in the community about how important it is for the caregiver in our lives to be mentally healthy and mentally able to take on the role of a caregiver. I feel that it is extremely important that littles check in with their caregivers and make sure that their caregiver's needs are not being overlooked, just as their caregiver would do for them.
If you are a caregiver with a little and you are having a hard time, talk to them about it. Do not take care of someone before you take care of yourself. This will harm both of you in the long run.
I would also like to add that there is nothing wrong with being unable to care for a little, if you are not in the right headspace. Your boundaries should always be respected, you should not feel forced into taking care of someone if you are unable to for any reason.
But all of that being said, please remember how important you are and how much we appreciate you for being here.
To all caregivers who are doing their best, thank you.

ˏ ˋ ✧ . ⁀➷ Do you remember when summer used to feel like this?
Blowing bubbles & running through sprinklers & climbing trees & getting messy & swinging so high you thought you might fly away 💚
Born 2 stay a kid!🍀
Made something silly and goofy to express some feelings I’ve had lately…

Any other regressors out there that just. Don't feel at home in their adult body? Like everything's just a little too easy to reach, the jungle gyms are too short, all the kids clothes are too small?
I remember things being a lot bigger, a lot brighter. Even being super short while not being a bio kid would have been great for me.
Shout out to the clover, the dandelion and the daisy. The triumvirate of springtime childish whimsy. WHO is doing it like them

Woke up feeling fussy and anxious this morning :(
I wish someone could bottlefeed me some warm weed-infused milk and rock me til it kicks in
⋱ ― ♱ . THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR AS A REGRESSOR ♱
sooooo peckish. constant snacking and nibbling. they're a growing baby! they need their nommies
they love making things with construction paper
colorful, kidcore clothes. lots of colors and patches and designs
velcro shoes, probably sketchers? or maybe loafers
outdoorsy kid for sure. sitting under trees, swinging at the park
regressed nicknames include 'buggie', 'little bug', and 'sweetpea'. i like to think when they're not regressed their nicknames are more butterfly leaning
they love felt toys
obviously a bug regressor but i also see toddler regressor and kid regressor too
draws on the walls with crayons and marks and paints
fruit tastes better if there's little shapes and faces carved into it
they prefer squishy stim toys over more firm ones
will drag you to parks to do scavenger hunts and geocaching
every halloween they choose a different food to dress as
they use those teethers and pacifiers that look like berries
