Have you ever thought about how you pick out an outfit? I think it’s very interesting to think about how each person finds their inspiration for their personal style and what they do when they are stuck in a rut for fashion. I personally find my inspiration through nature, different fabrics and style icons. Sometimes I’ll just be looking outside my window or going on a walk and I’m surrounded by all these beautiful trees and flowers. And I look at the different color combinations there are in nature which inspire me to try out new color combinations. Or I will see different textures in nature and feel inspired to mix and match different patterns and textures. And a lot of times I base my outfits on how I feel that day, whether I want to go bold and bright or a feminine look with soft pastels and frills. I also will look at my makeup and decide what makeup I want to wear that day which will lead me to what I’m going to wear that day.  Looking at different fabrics also makes me feel inspired and brings out a feeling in me which drives me to choose the different garments and accessories I am going to wear that day. No matter where you get your fashion inspiration from, it is important that whatever inspires you makes you feel a certain way which will drive you to dress in a way that expresses what you feel.
