Omg I want to talk about a lot of this show because genuinely it’s one of my fave ones.

I think all the people watching it have Opinions on the character of Amma are mixed; I believe, however, that her environment and the way she was raised had a significant impact on how she turned out. Unlike Camille, Amma didn't have anyone to share things with; she only had her sisters' stories—floating through the house like dusty ghosts—and was constantly told how perfect Marian was and who Camille could be complicated and dangerous, which led the character to—so to speak—construct a goal for herself: to appear as perfect as Marian in Adora’s eyes while also being more dangerous than Camille. As we see in the show, she achieves one of these two aims by becoming the Lady in White.

She was just a cute girl with problems.
