Zayn telling Niall not to give up on his dreams, not for him. Zayn telling Niall that he’s not leaving him, them, the band, just everything that goes with it. The fame, the schedule, someone else running his life. Zayn reminding Niall every night on Skype that he will never, could never leave him behind. Zayn telling Niall about his plans to go back to school, to actually pursue his art, maybe open a gallery for street artists to have some place save to do their work. Zayn smiling at his phone screen as he looks at Niall’s sleeping face, little snores leaving his open mouth. Zayn telling Niall about his plans to do everything he ever dreamed of before One Direction, now that he has the time along with the money. Zayn telling Niall that not all of his dreams are from before, that some of them are new, and he’s not giving those up either. Like waking up next to Niall every day for the foreseeable future.

Zayn is the Moon and Niall is the Sun, one can’t seem to shine now that the other is gone.
