deducing you

I remember when the first night I met her, the rain started to pour I saw a diner from the other side of the street and decided to stay there until the rain stop pouring. I saw her enter the diner, her hair was dripping wet, “Cassandra! Baby girl you’re here” the other waitress greeted her. “Well yeah, I’ve got lucky this night” she said as she seats, “I see, how much do you got?” the waitress asked. “Damn girl! That old man really believed that I really love him” she laughed while lighting up a cigarette and smoking it. “So get to the point Cas!” the waitress laughed. “Well I told him that I’m not the right woman even though I love him despite of our age discrepancy, and that I can’t take it anymore because of his damn old wife” she said and puffed out a smoke. “And then? That’s it” she pouted. “No that’s not all, that old man gives me a damn big envelope full of money” she laughed. I pretend eating while listening to them until that girl look at me and jumps out of her seat.

“Someone is listening to us Caitlyn and that’s not damn right” she walks sexily while smoking her cigarette. The waitress laughed and she looked aback at her again as she winks. “So let me know why you are listening to us?” she asked while seating in front of me and squished her cig at the ashtray. “Do you have any evidence that I’m listening?” I asked him with a bit of sassiness. “Oh someone’s getting a bit sassy here” she shouted at the diner. “Well you must make it up to me for listening to our conversation” she said while looking me dead in the eyes.

“Woah there! I am a stranger to you boo, you don’t even know me” I laughed at her. “that’s where the fun starts tho” she smirked. “So?” she asked chin resting on her propped elbow at the table. I smirked “Okay” I shrugged. “See you then tomorrow night, same time” she said and stands up and winked at me. That’s our story until she made me believed that she really loves me, she used me for money that hurts like hell. I really do still love her, but she left me that summer I never saw her anymore. It’s summer again so I decided to walked at the park and bumped into someone. “Shit sorry, I’m so clumsy” she laughed until I saw her face. “Za-Zayn” she stuttered. My jaw clenched so I just answered her.

“Hi Cas” I said flashing her a sad smile, “Look I’m wrong very wrong to tell you that lie and do that thing to you and……I really I-I” she frantically apologizes and just stopped. She cried out loud her face was buried in her palms. “I really do love you okay!” she sobbed and hugged me I just stood there for a moment and realize that I really still do love her and there is always a second chance. “I really do still love you too, Cas” I said while hugging her tighly. “Let’s start again” I whispered to her and I feel her smile and nod.
