Somehow, I installed Ubuntu on my computer and erased Windows and Mac Sierra from my computer, when I was trying to download it in a way I can dual boot. I guess dual means between two, right?
I wiped Windows and Mac Sierra from my computer. What a great opportunity to clean up my hard drive!
Ubuntu is cool, but I still have no clue how it works and I'm too scared to go into the guts of the computer. Coming up this week I'm studying OS concepts, I wanted to dive in a bit early, but I think I'll wait for the professor. I still have it saved on my flash drive so that step is complete.
The problem I was having was the naming conventions for my disk partitions were different on Mac Sierra and Ubuntu, so I wasn't sure if I was copying Ubuntu to the proper disk.
So I just kept copying... Hoping... That I would get it to the right partition eventually. Managed to install it on 2 sperate partitions, but not the correct ones.
Good thing there wasn't much in my hard drive!
At least the recovery process is pretty basic. Now I just have to wait for Mac Sierra to reinstall. I think I'll stick with brushing up on my basic knowledge for now.
