My Interpretation of Technology

I wiped Windows and Mac Sierra from my computer. What a great opportunity to clean up my hard drive!

Ubuntu is cool, but I still have no clue how it works and I'm too scared to go into the guts of the computer. Coming up this week I'm studying OS concepts, I wanted to dive in a bit early, but I think I'll wait for the professor. I still have it saved on my flash drive so that step is complete.

The problem I was having was the naming conventions for my disk partitions were different on Mac Sierra and Ubuntu, so I wasn't sure if I was copying Ubuntu to the proper disk.

So I just kept copying... Hoping... That I would get it to the right partition eventually. Managed to install it on 2 sperate partitions, but not the correct ones.

Good thing there wasn't much in my hard drive!

Best app ever

LocaleCompare() allows you to compare 2 strings and returns 0 if they're the same, 1 if the second string comes before the first string, and -1 if the second string comes after the first string.

Slice() allows you to abstract a string from itself. If you put in a negative number it will start from the end when finding the index. Slice() is similar to substr() except substr() does not remove the characters from the string, it simply returns them. Pretty cool!

Link() can be used to create <a> with a string value to represent it and a href value.
