It’s both impressive and kind of maddening that the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise has managed to perfectly replicate the terrible and contradictory continuity of an 80′s slasher film franchise despite being made mostly by just one dude.  Friday the 13th, Halloween, and Nightmare on Elm Street’s continuities all have that “it only makes sense as one continuous story if you don’t look closely at any of the details” problem because almost every entry in them was made by different people who didn’t really give a shit about connecting the dots.  But, like, Five Nights at Freddy’s has, until recently, just been one dude.

Not to mention how he put at least the first 5 games out within like 3-4 months of each other. That's so impressive. I'm happy for him to have been such a great success
