unfortunately, i will not immediately plot for shipping! i believe in chemistry, and in shipping with people i highly trust, so i won’t be jumping into anything like that immediately. with time, though, i might! while i do have ships for bnha, i believe any characters have chances together as long as it’s not something like teacher/student and etc etc.

friendship

deku is an immediately open and friendly person, and believes in the good of all people. it isn’t hard to make friends with him, but he does have high morals and will question your character if they’re someone not quite as justice-filled as him. (lookin’ at you, kacchan.)

partnership

looking for a hero sidekick to kick bad guys around with? looking for someone who will stand by your side and support you whenever possible, even if it’s through crying and cheering on rather than through punching? deku’s your guy! he still looks up to heroes no matter what world he’s in, and will obviously tail after certain heroes trying to jot down notes about the way they fight and the way they do things.

mentorship

think your muse is a good fit for teaching midoriya more ways to be stronger? think they’re a fatherly/motherly type that can help him on his quest to save the world? on the flip side - if you think big brother deku to younger muses is an absolute must-have(think eri), you’re at the right place.

frienemies/rivalry

while he’s got his hands full with bakugou otherwise in his universe, he’s more than ready to take on more than one rival that feels themselves strong enough to take him on.

the words seem to die in his throat the moment they’re forming. he had last been practicing out on the beach when he saw all might approaching him -- and part of him had immediately jumped to the conclusion that he was back at home, in middle school, staring up and spacing out and dreaming and dreaming, as he’d always been.

except, when he looks down to see a bottomless hole, he’s not.
