Small Enough to Fit (Writing blog)

Look, I get things are crazy and a lot of people are struggling, but I feel like I’m out here on my own and it’s starting to sting a little bit. 

I have a disability that makes things kind of scary right now. My bills are low, but I have no income stream and, even though I applied to 50+ jobs a week, I've got nothing. Y'all, I'm spitting distance from a Master's degree and I've got nothing.

So, here's my patreon. I can only beg if anyone has any wiggle room in your budget, you toss a few bucks my way. And I'm really begging, even though it's embarrassing.

The most embarrassing part is where I say: if you have ever been moved or even not annoyed by my work, please become a patron. Don't assume "someone else will do it" because everyone is doing that. Everyone who can afford to be a patron is passing it along, but not helping.

That leaves me with nothing. With crickets.

If anyone has ever heard of “diffusion of responsibility”: that’s what’s happening here. I know there are people who can help me who have shared this post or scrolled past it. But I don’t know who they are and I have nothing for those who ACTUALLY can’t help.
