Yes, there are no towers/tags or cameras. Just make sure no employees see you conceal. As it gets closer to Halloween they will be more busy as well as understaffed and the stores get very messy. I got a $30 pleather corset from there the other day just by stuffing it into my shopping bag.

I totally get this too and iv been on both ends. You want free stuff from the friend thats lifting but dont actually realise the risk it puts them at. And its your friends you wanna give them nice things but if they ask to much then it is using the lifter. I say if its nothing extreme or out of your comfort zone is do it but dont feel bad im sure they just dont understand the risk of lifting :l

What everyone above said. And also - to be totally honest @small-lifter it is no obligation of yours to get anyone ANYTHING, much less specific items. I give lifted gifts to my sister and she understands implicitly that these are items that I happened to lift. Not specific items I had in mind, but things that I happened to lift that also HAPPEN to be things she likes. I’ve only lifted specifically one thing for her, and I gave it to her 6 months after she asked for it. I only took a request bc I knew she was cool with potentially waiting for a while. It’s like seasonal veggies - if you have something they like that you’re cool giving away, good. If they want something specific and you don’t have it or can’t/won’t be able to get it …tough titties for them. YOU don’t owe anyone any lifted items, no matter who they are you don’t owe shit to anyone. Remember YOU are the one at risk here! They’re not gonna lose out if, god forbid, you get caught trying to lift their requested thing. It’s tough when it’s friends or people in your circle asking. I’d recommend reminding them that it may possibly take some time before you get xyz items. If they don’t take well to waiting, I’m sorry but you should put them on ice. I would also say that since you sound uncomfortable with the possibility of your generosity being abused, let them know this is a one time favor you’re doing for them. That should hopefully prevent repeat/bigger requests in future.

i will lift for friends that don’t ask because i want to treat them. i feel like if they were to ask me I definitely would not bc i have problems with feeling like people are taking advantage of me. i am potentially risking my future for someone that wants a couple lipsticks out of me and I’m not ok w that. i am not going to lift something for someone bc they ask. i will lift an item bc i feel like it and i am okay with the risk bc i’d like to see them happy.

But like, one of them is asking for a specific candle in a specific scent and it's a fall one so it's more monitored and it's just stressful..

No offense but honestly wishing you had pepper spray to fucking arm an officer that caught you AND ON TOP OF THAT thinking about going back and going to the store to fucking vandalize the outside of it just because they’re the ones who caught your cocky self…. Like grow tf up and deal with the fact you got caught because you weren’t smart about it at all. Yeah you got caught and it sucks but you got off easy. They could’ve punished you so much worse. You really were sloppy from what I’ve heard and you just need to accept that getting caught is a huge risk of lifting. Yall need to be extremely careful. Swiper whatever I’m glad you didn’t get caught but honestly… I don’t think you’re ready for lifting at all if you react like this.

FOR ALL BEGINNERS LEARN FROM THIS lifting is a serious crime. You could get jail time. Dont get cocky. And don’t be fucking rude to the people that caught you. Getting caught sucks but you just have to own up and deal with the fact that you did get caught. Revenge is not a way to deal with it just reevaluate yourself and your techniques and don’t go lifting for a while. And be careful. If you have a bad feeling, drop everything. Getting new expensive makeup that really isn’t that necessary is not worth getting caught
