Expedition Khaosmos ( EK ) is an epic sci-fantasy series about a stellar child of the Sun and the Moon who discovers xyr true identity after xe encountered a monstrous entity who seized xyr childhood best friend. Saved by the legendary cosmic train conductor, xe uncovers xyr origin as a Celestian Incarnation of Eclipse with a Corecluster that holds various starry individuals like xemself. Xe with xyr Cluster learns about an anticosmic group of eldritch monsters that broke through the black holes, gradually consuming every part of the Cosmos’ existence. The Cluster establishes a galactic express crew to explore the converged paths within the Unknown and eliminate the scattered threats across the Cosmos. Although the Crew will find there are more horrors and mysteries than what the Cosmos presents to them all.

STRUCTURE: EK is an epic science fantasy multisaga novel series, with a few spinoffs and field guides in progress. Its minor genres shift frequently, incorporating elements of action-adventure, metafiction, comedy-horror, drama, and folklores. Sagas of the series are called Expeditions, the main arc storylines within sagas are Voyages, and there are side stories between the Expeditions and Voyages known as Missions. It's currently planned that there will be twelve main Expeditions. Each Expedition have a core theme based on abstract concepts, exploring their truest essences: Life / Death, Identity / Obscurity, Time / Oblivion; Space / Distortion, Nature / Strife, Truth / Deceit; Fate / Freedom, Dream / Fear, Reason / Disorder; Reality / Imaginary, Cosmos / Chaos, and Love / Void.
SETTING: EK’s Universe parallels to our own, with higher elements of fantasy, science, and supernatural, known as the Cosmos. The Cosmos is created by abstract presences, the Origins, and maintained by concrete forces, the Primevals. The Solar System is called the Solaris Kingdom where personified planets and other earthly known cosmic beings live. The main storyline starts on Earth in January 2020, and then later across the Cosmos with the Ethereal Express Crew. Astrogone's crew ventures beyond to search for answers that can end the Acosmphages from reigning the Cosmos through their fatal existences of unending consumption and corruption.
INSPIRATIONS: EK was created on May 26, 2020 with the great interests of exploring outer space and interstellar travelling, along with abstract concepts and allegorical figures. Concepts of astronomy and embodiments are the major general influences, with fate, identity, and folklores as the minor parts. Doctor Who and Honkai Impact 3rd were originally the major canon inspirations before over time, prominently more science fiction and fantasy gacha games became the prominent base inspirations, such as: Arknights, Arknights: Endfield, Genshin Impact, Wuthering Waves, Zenless Zone Zero; and especially Honkai: Star Rail. Additional sci-fi inspirations are Interstellar ( 2014 ), Ad Astra ( 2019 ), Iron Lung ( 2026 ), and Project Hail Mary ( 2026 ).
MAIN PROTAGONISTS: Astrogone "Astron" is the central character who starts the series and mainly drives it into its further plot developments and lore establishments. Xe along with xyr Cluster is later accompanied by the Ethereal Express Crew to partake in the Astrodyssey where they travel across and beyond the Cosmos to uncover the anti-cosmic horrors and understand the celestial wonders more over the series. Other characters as part of the Ethereal Express Crew are Caine ( bearing the Pack Mind that is led by Warlock ), the Voyager, Amora Heartward, Hikari, Atlyss, ARC-001 Scarlight, Anujyoti, Felix, Zero, Moonday, Exousiael, and Leviathan "Levi”.
MAIN DEUTERAGONISTS: There is a variety of groups, figures, and forces appearing across the canon timeline at times as an ally or opponent or both to the main character cast, although they still overall represent a meaningful theme and / or purpose to the series. Deuteragonistic keys are the Striking Starfares cosmic crew of outlaw rangers led by Captain Tomorrow, the Polaris Frontier of Cosmoswide investigation workfield with mysterious Northlord Maddox as one of the Highlords, and various powerful pantheons such as the Primordial Pantheon and the Solaris Astroplex, including Astrogone's celestial parents who are the Solaris Kingdom's King and Queen.
MAIN ANTAGONISTS: The Acosmphages is the ultimate antagonistic key that is scattered across the Cosmos after breaking through their realm origin, the Veils of Black Hollows. Nihiliox "N" is the prominent Acosmphage with higher sapience through divine consumption that established its faction with the purpose of reigning the Cosmos, the Astrophagy. Other keys are the cosmic military force Interaste Operation by Director Wellfire, with his Team Investigation Leader Yeong-cheol, and the lone spacefaring rouge Carnifex who occasionally encounters the Ethereal Express Crew to remind them that Fate exists, as it always will be so.
