Costa Rica. Amazing Place.

It’s been just under three weeks since the husband and I got back from our incredible honeymoon overseas in Costa Rica. IT HAS SLOTHS. LOTS OF SLOTHS. I got to see wild sloths. Baby sloths. Sloths eating. Sloths sleeping. Sloths climbing. Three-toed sloths. Two-toed sloths. I am so, so happy. Talk about dreams coming true.

This little coconut was poking its head up at us when we visited The Toucan Rescue Ranch in Heredia. I cried. I’m not ashamed to admit it.

Here comes the sloth

This weekend I had my hen’s night and bridal shower! My bridesmaid organised personalised tattoos for the girls on the hen’s night, including sloth tats! And my Mum dressed up my Otaku Mode sloths as a bride and groom! Wonderful weekend.

A (brief) hiatus

After a brief hiatus (okay, maybe 9 months isn’t THAT brief) I’m back and ready to sloth blog my way to the rainforest.

Gah, sorry all.

I began post-doctoral work back in August 2015 and I just got busier, and busier, and the posts started slowing down, and eventually it got to a point where it was hard to come back. But the last couple of months I’ve seen a little explosion of sloth love in social media etc and realised how much I missed this!

No promises, but I am gunna try REAL HARD to be more prolific here!
