Also how come some people get to use their "I'm disabled" pass but when my spouse and I do it isn't taken seriously

Cuz I know if I tell our mutual friend "hey your friend enthusiastically offered me a ride to class and then never texted and never showed up" she's going to come up with all these disability excuses when like this person and I have literally the same disabilities and I don't get to use it as an excuse, I just get pushed and rushed into shit instead (WHICH IS HOW I ENDED UP IN SCHOOL ANYWAY) and my spouse gets told they have to get a job when they literally cannot and should not work, but OMG SHE HAS POTS GIVE HER GRACE GIVE HER A BREAK well WHERES MY FUCKING BREAK

what I need folks to understand is that the "ai" that were seeing isn't genuine artificial intelligence, which is why i use the term machine learning instead of artificial intelligence. The Venera program had a bunch that just died on entry of the atmosphere because trying to figure out how to make something survive Venus in the 1960s was not easy. Venera 7 was the first to successfully hit the ground intact and send data back. Venera 4, 5, and 6 transmitted data from the atmosphere, and Venera 3 slammed into the planet like a space rock. Venera 1 and 2 failed in space. After the first seven, they had a couple hours worth of readings total. Venera 7 had a very rough landing, and died sooner than expected. Venera 8 had a good landing, and sent back an hour of data compared to the under-30-minutes of Venera 7.

With 9/10/11/12, they redesigned it. Venera 9 lasted slightly under hour on the surface and managed to take pictures with one of its two cameras before dying.

Venera 10 lasted slightly over an hour and managed to take pictures with one of its two cameras before dying.

11 and 12 lasted longer, but both of the cameras failed instead of just one like the last two.

13 and 14 were the last to land on the surface, and landed the longest. 13 takes the record for longest surviving Venus probe at two hours and seven minutes. 14 lasted 57, which was actually over the expected 32.

In short, they got those pictures via craft who they knew would die within an hour, with one managing to hold on for two. It is indeed that hot, and they were doomed to destruction. But they still managed to do their best and send images back as radio signals before death.
