May all of you have your bills paid on time and have money left over to spend on you
Do SWERFs not realize that retail and other minimum jobs also cause physical/mental health issues because Iâd also liked to be saved from all of my other jobsâŚ..
Cos if I didnât do straight jobs Iâd have been homeless a long time ago so does that mean I was being trafficked before I started sex work I need answers
Shoutout to my best friendâs mom who was a waitress for 20+ years until the discs in her spine started to collapse and now sheâs fucked up on oxy all the time (which doesnât help her pain) and canât smoke weed (which does help her pain) because she gets drug tested.
Also, dude, I got sexually harassed when I worked at the public library way more than I have as a stripper. I had a guy follow me around work and then show up at my laundromat late at night when I was there alone, I had dudes tell me about their dicks apropos of nothing, had to wait on guys who were obviously jerking themselves off under their coats, not to mention the run-of-the-mill verbal abuse from the non-perverts. I had a violently mentally ill man threaten to stab me in front of my supervisor. They did nothing. Twice I got sexually harassed by other staff members. Before I started working there, a man had stalked one of the desk workers and they only called the cops about this after it had been going on for MONTHS. This woman had to quit her job. The guy was never banned from the library. He just has a note on his record saying heâs a stalker.
And all the awful people there? I could never cuss them out, walk away from them, or even appear to be angry. At the club if someone is an asshole to me, I can (and do) walk away. If theyâre really bad, I can get their ass thrown out. I donât have to be nice to them; I donât even have to talk to them. I feel safer in the club than I ever felt at the library.
This was exactly what I was talking to my retail worker friends about. I would hate feeling âcorneredâ in a retail job unable to walk away or respond the way I wish to sexual harassment or an otherwise inappropriate situation.
My retail roommate told me a story where a guy left his bags at the store they work at. So naturally, the manager kindly put his belongings behind the counter at the Customer Service desk. Well, he comes back less than fifteen minutes later, retrieves his items and then proceeds to walk up to my friend just to demand what the store is going to âdo for himâ since HE left his bags at the checkout counter. He asks what the store will give him for free or what discounts theyâll provide because apparently it was my friendâs fault he left his own bags and then he mentions how he lives five minutes away so that was a drive for him (I know seriously?). In the beginning my friend was being polite explaining how he got all of his purchases, no questions asked, the store kept them safe, and how the staff would have called a number on file if he had a discount card with them had the items been left for longer. But NO. This isnât good enough for this guy so he gets louder in, I assume, an attempt to humiliate my friend in front of other patrons and coworkers. Heâs still asking what heâs getting and all of this is overwhelming my friend so they walk away as to not let the customer see them cry.
Then he gets even more angry because my friend needed a moment to collect themselves and finds the floor manager and complains about the entire situation to them.
Guess what? My friend got reprimanded for walking away TO CRYYYY. For not just putting up with the guyâs ridiculous behavior.
OMG if a customer at the club gets obnoxious I can tell my manager to give the guy the boot and they support me 100%. If I need to walk away from a situation that is making me uncomfortable, they support me 100%. That is why I am actually afraid of retail. You basically have no rights. I have more rights as a stripper, just sayinâ.
Honestly I know all of us say how much we hate men and the guys that come into our club. But it honestly makes me happy when Iâm dancing for a man and I can sense heâs a good person and Iâm making him feel happy and special for once. Even right after we do a room or a dance they feel so happy afterwards and appreciative, thatâs what I like.
One of my favorite things is when Iâm doing a bachelor dance and heâs not into it because heâs so happy to be getting married and we just talk about his lady and how long theyâve been together and hereâs why sheâs so great. Restores my faith in men. :)
Or when youâre like âoh you can touch here and hereâ and heâs like âoh no thank you that would be disrespectful to my lady I just want to watch you danceâ and they tip well itâs like YESSSSSS your girl is so lucky
âI donât want to waste your time. Weâve been talking for awhile. Can we go get a couple dances?â
when they just want to pay you to sit and talk about star wars đ topless
When they buy dances and just rub your feet + back while talking about normal stuff and THEN they tip you good without asking and donât want your number or real name they just say have a good night!!!! âđđđGOODââââđđđđSHIT đââRIGHT THEREââââđđđđ

OH MY GOOOOOOD WHATâS HAPPENING

Refugees unlawfully detained in airports after Trumpâs immigration executive order
On Friday, President Donald Trump signed an executive order suspending the nationâs refugee settlement program and barring immigrants from countries with âwould-be terrorists,â namely Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen.
The executive order went into immediate effect, meaning refugees on planes to the United States landed in a nation newly hostile to their presence.Â
Though they were given permission to settle here by the U.S. State Department, after a long, complex vetting process, they are now being detained in U.S. airports, waiting for news of their fate. Read more.
Itâs started. Publicize this. Do not be complacent. Do not say âWell, theyâre onlyâŚâ
