It was challenge even for the redhead because she wanted to know how much Sloane could handle. Or maybe it was a threat. Samantha wanted to lean down and have her way with her, but teasing her was even better. Not giving into what Sloane wanted was a turn on. There was a small chuckle that left her lips. “No of course not. I think I remember getting it to see if there were any places I recognised in it but I don’t remember ever reading it.” Aeron shifted around the box to move closer to Sloane and handed over the book.

Another guilty smirk curled into Aeron’s lips and she offered a shrug. “Next time I have to pack anything I’ll hire your services so you don’t have a meltdown or something,” she teased. “Yup, I did. Gonna make a big deal out of it?” Sam muttered, not really looking for an answer to that question. When she noticed Sloane stumbling a little bit, she reached out to steady her. Keeping her hand on her waist for the moment. “No, I would never make you purposely pass out. Are you okay?” She questioned, looking back at her now. Of course the height difference was there. “You’re welcome, you sassy little hot brat.” She left her hand on her waist for a moment before pulling it away. “I can show you around if you want. Or I can get started on -dinner for us or hell I can do both.” She glanced down for a moment, watching Buster sniff her.

Sam’s hot, but annoying. Incredibly annoying. And that’s...attractive. Someone that pushes right back when she pushes. Dinner, anyway.” She’s had enough of this - she’s been dying to kiss Sam since she first set eyes on her on the nights she’d come in while Sloane was stuck behind the bar. “Just give in a little,” she mumbles, reaching up and letting her fingers graze the spot behind Sam’s ear, pushing up onto her toes and letting their lips meet just barely. “I know you want to.” She pulls away just enough to keep talking. “Let’s make dinner after.”

Samantha felt her slump a bit more but it didn’t bother her at all. Even after the Marines, she still had a work out routine and plus she was a firefighter. Hearing the mock, she rolled her eyes once again. “I’ve got your little game figured out.” Feeling her squirm caused Sam to hold her a bit tighter this way she didn’t drop her. “Stop squirming or else I’ll drop you on that nice ass of yours.” Of course she had checked out Sloane’s ass a couple of times. Who could blame her? She was human after all. “I gave you the choice to walk properly. But no you wanted to be stubborn and a little shit.” The redhead pointed out. “Good, cause I have one. Buster, you’ll be meeting him shortly.” Hearing her next comment, the redhead chuckled a little bit. “I’m sure that isn’t true at all. Or else you wouldn’t have accepted this.” She teased lightly. Once they came up to her place, she unlocked the door and carefully moved inside with Sloane over her shoulder. Closing the door with her foot, she turned on the light and did the code this way her alarm wouldn’t go off. Being greeted by the dog in question. “Hey Bust, behave we have a guest.” This time, she started to move Sloane down, this way she could set her down on her feet. “You okay?” She questioned, as she looked down at the brunette.

Sloane slumps even more, wishing there were a way for her to physically make it more difficult to carry her. But of course, Sam’s too strong for all of that, so the smaller of the two gives up on the struggling bit. Her brows perk once again at the comment tossed her way. “Oh, you’d just drop me?” she asks. “That’s fucking rude.” She smirks when Sam calls her a little shit. She is, and proud of it. Buster seems like the most basic name for a dog, right next to Rex and Spot and Buddy - but she’d never insult a dog, so she keeps the comment to herself. Maybe she’ll rename him when she meets him. Give him a nickname of some sort. 

“Wow, carrying me over the threshold,” Sloane mumbles when they come to Sam’s door, moving inside while she watches the woman kick the door shut. When she’s finally back on her feet, she feels a bit dizzy - the blood rushing away from her head makes her stumble on her feet slightly, but only for a second. “Whew,” she exclaims. “Practically making me pass out here. Was that all part of your plan?” Sloane looks up and notices the height difference again - Sam is tall. Hot. Very hot. “Thanks for the lift, gentle giant.”

Sloane tries to slump a bit more, as if she could possibly make herself heavier or more difficult to carry. But Sam is built and over half a foot taller than her - she probably weighs nothing to the redhead, so her slump is more in defeat than anything. Fine, she’ll just sass the entire way. “Ooo, we’ll see about that,” she mocks, grumping and huffing and puffing. “I do like pushing your buttons - glad to see you’ve figured that out.” Sloane squirms a bit, gently kicks her feet a few times not necessarily to kick Sam, mostly just to be obnoxious, maybe get her in the hip or something. But the question is presented to her asking if she wants to be put down, and Sloane absolutely doesn’t, so she just sighs. “Well you’ve got me up here already, might as well just parade me through town,” Sloane tells the woman. “And no, I’m not allergic to dogs.” She takes a deep breath, catching Sam’s scent and feeling dizzy over it. She smells amazing. “Might be allergic to you, though.” Not true. Not in the slightest.

Samantha wanted nothing more than to put Sloane in her place right now. But she wasn’t going to let her win. It seemed like a game or a challenge, one that the redhead was here for. There were so many different things running through her own mind about how she could dominate Sloane. But she didn’t voice any of them right now. “You haven’t earned that title yet, baby girl.” The redhead told her with a grin on her lips. When she sat down, that was when Samantha leaned down next to her. “Alright, well carry it is.” Before anything else could be said or done, the switch had her arms around the brunette and lifting her up with ease.
