Scrumptious

i havent talked about it much but I lived and breathed Bioshock and Bioshock 2, ever since i first played them. i loved them so much i wrote out an entire pitch for Bioshock 3, back in middle school that I fully intended to send to Irrational Games. though i never sent the pitch, the game still exists in my heart as my favorite game and possibly my favorite piece of media.

from the arsthetic, to the gameplay, to the characters, to the music that made me bawl my eyes out at the end of Bioshock 2, it was all just perfect. i played the games everytime i got sad and they helped me through some of the worst times of my life, ended friendships, lost pets, lost loved ones. no matter what happened i could always return to rapture, hear the voice of Andrew Ryan as his capitalist dream became a nightmare, see the twisted faces of the men and women who once saw rapture as a place to start a new life.
