fair.

i totally get why people are excited for the accents. the cards are absolutely stunning and the movie references are so good.

even for me, it's less grating than the first watch, now that i've exposed myself to it a few more times.

my biggest issue, i think, is that it takes me out of the immersion. i don't like surprises, and boy did this surprise me. it just feels too different from the usual.

catch-22 had some really good exaggerated voices, tamino especially felt like he wasn’t rafayel. but it still sounded like him, just adjusted for the situation.

i probably just need to experience the accents in the context of the memories. i totally see myself changing my mind later.

it's not xavier with the accent. why he sound like that? zayne too. why do the others get to sound normal? what am i supposed to do with the new voice lines? grrrr
