So we are the embodiment of systems; which could mean religion or mythology (concerned with the creation of things and our place within it), or pyschoanalytical theory (psychological/biological processes). Could system also mean science itself? (The values of empirical method). Science is a noble system, no doubt, if it is a system at all, but it’s an austere and demanding one.

The point is we cannot be free of these things; to claims that we have no system, that we see things exactly as they are, that we live and create, without any preconceptions or hidden ideology, is to deceive ourselves. We are already enslaved.

Our lives are systems; processes are the relationships with our history, our surroundings, with each other, with ourselves.

Systems are just stories.

Listen well; read widely, read wisely.

With me and you, there will be two.

We all too often judge and criticise, mock and scowl, with righteous indignation we determine whether other people are worthy of our love and respect - this is a fundamental flaw of our nature.

We will ignore a whole series of good qualities if we can identify a single flaw in a person’s nature; or even a single mistake, an error of judgement, or bad habit.

With kindness and forgiveness, and a respect for the whole person, we can overcome this error of thinking about others and ourselves; work together, overcome differences and create something.

Manufacturing Complacency

An economic system that is disadvantaging a majority of people.

A political system that is wholly ineffective in addressing longterm issues.

A Social media full of ambiguity, distractions and digressions.

We don’t exercise enough, we have malnourished diets and our sleep is depreciated.

...and then we ask ourselves.

“Why am I so anxious all the time?”

One shovels shit, one’s a shower of shit, and the last one is busying itself flinging shit around.

reflections and reactions,

A process not a product,

and if we truly empathise,

ineffability becomes ours.
