Weird Stuff That Happens is an ARG (alternate reality game) in the form of a variety fun fact blog website owned by a young webmaster, Thomas "Tomtab" Bennedetto and run by the site moderation crew. Among them are Tom's childhood friends: Mouse, a quiet but witty English major; David, the coolest dude Tom knows; and Ariel, a sugary sweet dynamo. Joining them are Tom's new friends: the enigmatic Calexta, aloof programmer Joey, and Pim — a pompous heckler turned ironic website nemesis. Tom, David, Mouse, Joey, Cal and Ariel all live in the curious fictional town of Cranesbill, Georgia. A strange air seems to linger there, touched with odd occurrences, strange secrets, and mythical mysteries.

Unbeknownst to most, Tom pours his heart and soul into the website to distract himself from a dark, heavy secret: Tom was attacked by something eldritch inside a VHS tape as a child. And the evil residing in that tape is still out to get him. Lucky for him, Cal miraculously knows how to deter supernatural monsters and other paranormal activity— but Cal's magic has its limits.

The dawn of March 7th, 2023 marks the 20th anniversary of the grotesque VHS creature attacking Tom. It approaches with each passing day, and Tom knows this date is gonna majorly suck eggs. What he doesn’t know is that his old assailant is already planning to infiltrate the one place he thought he was safe…

WSTH is an ongoing ARG with arcs, but you don't have to read the full shebang before shit hits the fan for poor Tom — assuming you don't just want to work backwards from the carnage. This March arc, without spoiling too much, will make Tom face his worst fears and completely warp the website. There will be a number of cool ARG puzzles spanning the site mid-event and the site's status quo will be altered permanently.

Howdy howdy howdy folks. Anon told me to look at Black Skirt Productions and damn there’s only 6 videos but I love it. 

Jenny started a YouTube channel, Black Skirt Productions, to investigate the paranormal and the like. These usually involve odd semantics involved such as using Fruity Pebbles to lure alien spacecraft. She’s accompanied by her cameraman Tobias who, more than once, has been treated like Seth from Marble Hornets. In the fifth video, he is found sitting on the bench next to Jenny’s door, his face obscured from view. Next to him was a red mask that honestly looked like it had blood on it (nice effect, I dig it) and Jenny’s mirror from her first video where she tried to summon Bloody Mary. Jenny apologized for a few things such as the accusations she had made in the previous video but Tobias walked off, putting the mask on. Following this, a video was released with slowed down audio, featuring the mask and a candle while the lights sporadically flickered on and off. I don’t have the means to speed up the audio currently so uh, yea.

Like I said, I’m hooked on this already. The complete idiocy of luring out aliens with fuckin Fruity Pebbles was so good and playing Toxic while trying to summon Britney Spears via Ouija Board coupled with the sense that Tobias might be fairly annoyed from slight Seth treatment- I can feel the tensions rising. Revenge story? Maybe. Idk. In conclusion though, go subscribe to their YouTube and watch it unfold with me.

buildabearkid is someone who messaged me a while ago. The kid, Ellie, as they named themselves, is in the care of Mask who acts as a guardian. It can be inferred that they’re demons and living in hell from a few oddities Mask has described to me such as some of them having wings but that generally they all have red skin and horns, and that the average lifespan is about 2,000 years. In most depictions of hell, that’s what they’d look like. Not only that, but cats there have spikes and purple eyes! I want one. Going back to Mask however, they appear to be a guardian for Ellie though they’ve stated that they’re watching over them as part of their job. This job also requires them to wear a plain white mask at all times which is pretty odd to me but I also don’t know babysitting customs in hell so I can’t say much about the matter. 

I’m not sure where this story is going to go plot-wise but it has me interested. I really want to know more about Ellie’s situation, what hell is like, and whatever is going on with Mask’s job. One of my favourite things about it is how it handles the innocent protagonist. I’ve noticed in a lot of ARGs the protagonists might be super upbeat and use exclamation points a lot and that’s fine and all but it does fit younger protagonists better as they’re likely to get more excited about smaller things. Ellie being “6 or 7″ (Mask is an amazing guardian and doesn’t know their age, I aspire to be that good one day), it suits them a lot more and going around asking people to be their friend is definitely something a little kid does. It just works a lot better. Anyways, y’all should dm them because this is looking spicy.

Hey there it’s the unnofficial representative of the Slenderverse fandom. Today I’m going to be going through why this has been a great year for Slenderverse. I thought it’s been a great week, but to be honest, this year has been amazing for us. As the fandom is slowly revived, let’s go over what’s happened.

Thacverse/Eckva/Marble Hornets: In January, we got ECKVA3 and ECKVA4, February we got ECKVA5. In March we got ECKVA6, in April, we got ECKVA7, May, we got ECKVA8. In June we got ECKVA9. July, ECKVA10. ECKVA11 in August. ECKVA12 in September. Though Eckva is nowhere near as popular as Marble Hornets was, the Slenderverse blew up. All the theories and secrets and shit just had everyone go insane.

TribeTwelve: In May, we got Sisyphus. An amazing TribeTwelve video, given to us by our meme lord Adayum Roznerd. Some thought of the video as just filler, but I enjoyed it a lot as it was really nice to have TribeTwelve back. We got more tweets from Noah as well, as shown below.

Now, my favorite part, September 18th was my birthday. Best gift ever.

So, other than this conversation between Firebread and No McSwell, we get Prebrand and Noah. 

So, now what’s got the fandom freaking out, November 11th, Noah’s birthday, the live stream. From Prebrand. Where he answered some questions. And Scrin came back and left again because he can’t stand us.

Now today we got some news that relates to both TT and Stan Frederick.

EveryManHYBRID: There isn’t much news here, but I can guess that since the movie Lee, Vinny, and Chris were working on is pretty much done, EMH might be coming back soon.
