do we remember that line in the XETROVerthink music video that went like, “why has my Lu Guang been stolen again” or something… then we look at this new OP, with the lyrics being CXS telling LG he never thought they’d have to say goodbye and other stuff about losing him. Combined with these visuals.

And all the halo imagery with Lu Guang and… I could go on and on.

but most importantly I think to me is the fact this song is called “time” but with the character 时 instead of the so often used 时光. They took the “Guang” away. I feel like, considered the name of the show and the name of the studio incorporate the word - and how important it is in regards to it being their names together - there’s no way they weren’t intending for it to symbolize Lu Guang not being there. It looks empty.

Cheng Xiaoshi searching for Lu Guang with yellow eyes for the majority of this trailer also. Lu Guang standing in front of a train in the latest PV, said train has turned up in the show as early as the S1 OP. I really don’t have much faith he’s going to be okay.
