My music is my love letter to the world. It doesn't matter if somebody else can do it much better, or if AI can produce something passable as a love letter. It doesn't even matter if the intended recipient will eventually read it. The only thing that matters is the feeling, the intent behind it, that it originates from a human soul that is feeling some kind of love, the act of writing it. What happens next may or may not be nice, but is inconsequential. It might as well be like a sand mandala, gone in thin air with the slightest puff of the wind, and you start it all over again.

Wanted to use one software instrument to create samples for the new dark ambient track. Opened the project and… it simply no longer worked. Something in the update broke it completely.

A sobering little reminder: when your main creative tool lives inside a computer, you never truly own it. It can vanish or change on you without warning.

That’s why I’ve fallen in love with the live looper again. One sound at a time, built by hand in real time. Nothing between you and the music. It’s all yours.
