hiiii whats it like in sunny alola!! ive always wanted to go (esp since i have family there) but. unfortunately i do not have the budget right now š closest ive ever gotten was a few packaged malasadas sent over through the mail and even then i assume theyd be better fresh (@lilycove-living)

Hey there~ I just wanted to extend an invitation to my salon for your PokƩmon partners! I'm a PokƩmon Stylist when I'm not battling or doing Admin stuff in Skull~
Your salon sounds pretty cool, but team skull does some bad stuff so uh

Ah, the rumors reached you, too.
We actually aren't a bad Team.... Aether hired Guzma because Lusamine needed a pawn and Guzma was... *sigh* desperate for validation after his whole thing with his Pops went down... Lusamine took advantage of our already sketchy reputation.
But I get it, Teams in general have kind of a bad rap. If you ever change your mind or wanna ask me about Skull, you're free to do so...!
So youāre telling me without the aether foundation, team skull would be, on the whole, good?
(This is a genuine question, i understand it comes off as a bit sarcastic sorry :ā))
Well, as good as a bunch of mischievous kids can be. Have you... ever spoken to any Skull Grunts? The kids in Skull are just... kids. There are some adults- the Admins, some Grunts- but a lot of them are in their teens and they're... anxious trainers.
There were a couple of Grunts who really wanted a bottle cap from an Alolan Vulpix and they- haha- they were trying to ask it nicely for it but it didn't want to give it to them... so they left. They stopped bothering the Vulpix, they didn't force it to give them the cap. They left.
There was also the group- these brats kicked and yelled at a bus stop. A bus stop! Because one of them tripped and ran into it. So after making sure the Skull was okay, they started beating up the pole of the bus stop. They did inconvenience the bus itself, but they moved on when they were done.
Aether is run by an absolutely insane woman who abuses people and PokƩmon. Have you seen her trophy room? She froze PokƩmon to display them. It's... it's utterly disgusting. She's extremely good at manipulating and controlling people- even her kids ran away and tried to stop her.
It's easy to be wary of a Team when other people paint them as a scary and dangerous Team. Especially since a bunch of us in Skull have that gruff, tough front which is a trauma response. They just want to be safe.

Okay team skull members actually seem pretty chill, i take everything back i am very sorry :(
What really is the objective of team skull? I keep seeing lots of different team blogs on here and iām never sure why they actually formed in the first placeā¦ Do you just occasionally cause minor havoc across the islands? (/genq again, i donāt mean to keep coming off as rude sorry :ā))

Well... Skull used to have a lot of objectives. Before I joined, Skull did steal PokƩmon- to try and get money from their Trainers to get them back. Skull was involved in a kidnapping once, but that was because of Lusamine. It's mostly made up of misfits who failed the island challenge or needed a safe space. Some of the members in Skull don't even like battling. Right now, we have no objective except safety and supporting ourselves and each other. Guzma had talked about disbanding, but a lot of us argued that this was the only family we had, and we didn't want it to go away.
Skull originally formed around an old Kahuna on the islands... I know Guzma was there when the old Kahuna made the Tapus angry. Like... really angry. Guzma was defending some of the members, and the Kahuna was getting aggressive and... there was a flash flood from Tapu Fini and Lele. Most of them were washed out to sea... Guzma and the few Grunts he was protecting were the only survivors, and he made sure that the old Kahuna's teachings were forgotten. Not even I know who they were.
So team skull is basically a family where people who need it support each other? Putting the pokemon stealing aside (do you mean that was all in the past?), that is very sweet actually :ā)
Iām sorry for judging team skull so harshly at first, you guys donāt actually sound half bad now haha
