In honor of Finn's week I'll be rating his skins!

It's pretty simple is design but still does a great job telling a lot about his character. He's a fishbowl and wears a lifevest which tells you he has a strong association with marine biology. The choice of colors are great as well with blue and orange being complimentary to each other. And while you only see Barnaby when he does his animation the purple helped making him stand out.

Vintage

The skin is alright, his main body and head is so light it looks like his wetsuit which isn't great because it makes it look like he's not wearing pants. If he didn't had the black parts everything would blended way too close together. Barnaby does look very good however with the values being different so the details stand out better.

Prismatic Pal

This was the very skin that had sparked SEVERAL fanart and fandesigns of him with the fins and tail. It adds more to his already established aquatic interest by turning him into this siren/mermaid/sea creature thing. The colors also looks good using what I like to call pastel primary colors. The only issue I have are the clothes. The sweater and shirts is a odd choice for the skin and the sweater just looks off and really small on him. The colors also looks very nice on Barnaby with how they managed to incorporate blue, yellow, and pink on him.

Tacky Sweater

I'm kinda surprised he has a skin like this but at the same time it make sense he would wear a tacky sweater. It's the typical red and green with the sweater pretty simple so the Christmas lights would stand out more. The mismatched socks are very cute and the mismatched eyeliner is a cute detail. Not sure how I feel about the mint green on his head. It's not bad but it makes it hard to see the green eyeliner. Either way this is definitely something Finn would wear at a Christmas party. Barnaby is pretty mid it's just the usual red and green colors.

Ice Fisher

While this skin doesn't really scream Christmas it still fits Finn for the seasonal wear. He's well bundled up for the cold and the colors go well very nicely for a outdoors feel. The fishing rod and ice on his rim are nice extra details that makes the whole thing feel complete. Can't say I'm a fan on Barnaby's colors they just swapped the red and green from tacky sweater and make it darker.

Flowery Punch

It was a no brainer on how to go about with his Easter skin, turn his head into a punch bowl. It's very cute and the colors go well very nicely with the rare light red being used to break up the pastel colors. The outfit gives him a playful charming appearance like he's going to a fancy party but still wants to be casual. The straw and flower details just ties the whole thing together on a nice bow. Barnaby also looks very nice with the yellow being his main color so he stands out when he does his animation.

Reef Explorer

When this skin appeared everyone IMMEDIATELY fell in love with it and me included. Not only it acts as a quote on quote redesign of Finn but it also feels like a elevation on prismatic pal. Qwell seemed to have seen how much the fandom loves to give Finn fins and tail and knew the assignment. The outfit is actually so much better than his default with the colors and showing more of his passion for marine biology. The colors also looks so so so good using a darker shade of blue to make the orange pop more and makes it all feel more uniform. Barnaby also looks fantastic even with just a simple white and orange. It reminds me of koi fish and clownfish which fits Finn in my opinion. It also feels like a call back to his default as his outfit was mainly white and orange. I actually immediately bought it as soon as the week started. Yeah I'm very normal about this guy!

Golden Fishbowl

I had seen so many people wanting Finn to look like piss and I'm so glad Qwel didn't go that route. I don't know why people wanted that...Regardless his golden skin looks pretty good. It's less royalty and more superhero. Yes the colors look like ketchup and mustard but I'll let that slide since it does give me hero vibes on this outfit. The cape also looks really good and well animated. I was wondering how they would do the crown and seems they just make it float in the water. Now Barnaby is the real royal here! He looks so golden and fantastic in this skin. I was not expecting for them to give him the red eyeshadow but I ain't complaining! He looks so diva and I love it!

Swimming Finn

When they announced you get a skin after getting a high score on the mini game I thought it was gonna be like Finn dressed as Barnaby like a onesie. Boy was I wrong! My first time seeing it was on a public run and I thought it was the tacky sweater because the bowl was green, then I saw the seaweed and realized it was the secret skin! This wasn't what I expected to look like. The outfit makes me think of lifeguards but the seaweed and the green skin makes me think of a swamp. It's not bad but it hard to compete against mostly the rest of his skins. It is good I like the outfit and seaweed details, but it's competing against the rest of his skins. And the green does look nice on Barnaby but he's also blending it with the green water.

Mark Alain

Mark is a 32-year-old police officer. He lives and takes care of his younger brother Paul. He is kind, sympathetic, and has a high sense of justice. He works very hard for his younger brother.

Two years ago, from the beginning of the events of the show, he moved to the state where the main characters live. It was hard for him and his younger brother in a new place, but they tried not to be discouraged. Mark works very hard to ensure that Paul doesn't need anything.

A couple of months after moving in, he helped a girl on the street, she was Monica Park (Frank's ex-girlfriend). He liked her very much, but he was too shy to ask for her number and accepted that he would not see her again. Until he was called to the school for a conversation. It turned out that Monica was a biology teacher at Paul's school, and his problems with the subject forced her to call his relative.

Since then, Monica and Mark began to communicate, and after a few months they moved in together. Mark drives Paul and Monica to school, and then leaves for work. With Monica's arrival, the house has become much more cozy and warmer. And Mark felt better in his new place.
