"Exposure to excessive light at night, including extended use of various electronic media, can disrupt sleep or exacerbate sleep disorders, especially in children and adolescents. This effect can be minimized by using dim red lighting in the nighttime bedroom environment."

Keep Your Feet Warm
Your body temperature drops when you are asleep making it easier to fall asleep in a cool environment. However, in order to release heat, your blood vessels must be warm enough to promote blood flow.
Surprisingly, a lot of heat is released through your feet, and having cold feet slows down this internal, cool-down process. So help your body out and put some socks on if your feet are cold!
