First, he would need to assess whom would qualify for this particular job, then determine how much the cost to hire them would be. Mercenaries tended to be expensive, and even then, sometimes they wouldn’t accept jobs that didn’t seem worthwhile to them.
However, it seems that few mercenaries were present as most of the patrons were civilians. A sigh escaped his lips; this few would not be enough manpower to complete the task at hand.
Well, it wouldn’t be a waste of time if he could get information about the Pro-War Extremists from the barkeep, whom usually has an ear for these kinds of things. Making sure to keep a fair distance from the rest of the paying customers of this tavern, he questioned the owner.
Questions about the current state of the world, the extremists and any little hints that would help with the current crises. In the end however, all he got was a general location of where the attacks occur most frequently.
Just as he was about to get up and leave, something caught his eye; a man dressed in black wielding a strange weapon only heard of in tales of the old world of Ancient Averost.

A bayonet was rare, but the most important part that interested folks was the gun end, his back was to the knight before he turned slowly, because honestly getting whipped by his long hair would embarrassing for everyone involved.
That was when the armoured man noticed him, words were said and his attention was fully focused on the other.

Keeping his intention on work and on the weapon itself. His attention would be pulled back into the weapon later when there were less folks to worry about overhearing their conversation, or the soldier drags the topic out into the open.
