â *ďžÂ andy biersack. cis man. he/him. bisexual. â hey, isnât that syd whitechapel ( nickname: azathoth )? i think that the twenty-eight year old from norfolk, nebraska works as drummer for vain rogues and the ghost orchestra and bartender at the twisted sisters pub & member of the bastards, but outside of that people describe them as the rush of adrenaline when doing something dangerous, leather jacket rested on broad shoulders, and knives sharp enough to leave deep cuts. i hear they are capricious & malicious, but they are also known to be observant & charming. consider giving them a visit at their home in the kingpin trailer park and get to know why theyâre called the blood knight.Â
Full name: Syd Whitechapel
Nicknames: Sydious, Azathoth (Bastards), The Prince of Chaos
Birthday: December 21st
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bisexual
Occupation: Bartender at the twisted sisters pub & drummer for vain rogues and the ghost orchestra
- Sydâs a bit more defective and backward than the rest of his kind. There are gaps in his memories that make the timeline of events in them quite blurry but he remembers the original ones nonetheless. It is for this reason that Syd has mistaken them for his own childhood due to them being equally as violent as his true childhood.
- Heâs from the small town of Norfolk, Nebraska. He, meaning his original copy, was born one of six children but they all mysteriously disappeared over the years, making Syd an only child from the age of 14. His father was sent to prison for some serious crimes so he was adopted by his aunt who lived in Anchorage when he was finally found after being missing for several years. Syd remained in Anchorage for awhile until his father died in prison, deciding to take his chances on the road when he grew sick of living in Alaska. He spent four years in a cycle of traveling from city to city and living in motel rooms or his car before he returned to Anchorage. In truth, he was decommissioned at a young age due to his disinterest in following rules, his uncontrollable violent behavior, and being far too independent to condition, and was forced to fend for himself until he was adopted.
- Sydâs a narcissistic sociopath but is unaware of it as his diagnosis has never been revealed to him. Being raised in an abusive and neglectful household only exacerbated this and turned Syd into someone who is not only reckless and destructive but manipulative too with no empathy for others. He's also got a knack for causing chaos and messing with people for fun or simply out of boredom. To make things worse, Syd knows he's good-looking and uses that as well as his charm to get what he wants from people. However, he can hide all of this whenever he wants to if itâs required to fulfill his own selfish interests.
- He fell into the Bastards a couple of months into what has become an eight-month stay. He was already living a life of low-level crime while on the road and fit in completely with the gang as if heâd always been there. While true loyalty doesnât exist to Syd, the money and the excitement that comes with being one are enough to keep him in line enough not to step on too many toes.
- Music has always been a big part of Sydâs life, specifically rock and punk rock. Itâs been the soundtrack to his life on the road for the last several years, but his love of it started much earlier than that. He was encouraged by a social worker to channel his rage into something productive after ending up in juvey and took up drumming. A few years later, Syd joined a band as the drummer and remained with them until he left town to experience life outside of Anchorage. However, heâs never lost his love of playing and has returned to his place as their drummer since he came back home.

đđ đđ đđđđđđđđđ đđ secret that it requires quite a bit of misstep to upset the otherwise mild-mannered individual. Eve had always been a rather level-headed person, not remarkably prone to frustration. However, following their shift at the Boom Boom Room, the last bit of patience she contained had certainly begun to wither. Brown orbs examen the pizza place as the bell chimes overhead, clearly evaluating if waiting in the line of other disgruntled customers is even worth it. The craving for a pepperoni and sausage pie appears to win out as she steps into the line, watching the clock overhead as the hands begin to move. Thus begins the passage of time until now, when she hears the impatient echoing the sentiments of another nearby stranger. Eve has simply been standing quietly in line, twiddling their thumbs or however people subconsciously passed the time. Itâs not like they could have brought a book in here. âO-Oh, I ââ She begins, finally coming back down to earth. âIâve been here like.. twenty minutes or somethingâŚâ They pause, feeling a bit embarrassed by how distant they likely appeared. Regardless, Eve canât deny that she shares the strangerâs sentiments in wanting to vacate the premises as quickly as possible, food in hand. Looking around the shop again, they look back to the new face with a gentle smile. ââŚGreat minds think alike, right?â
It was clear from the moment he laid his eyes on her that this one was away with the fairies. There was a few seconds before the stranger replied but she eventually arrived at an answer he was expecting. Twenty minutes waiting for a fucking slice of pizza at this time of night was ridiculous. While Syd knew that not every normie was a daywalker, he would rather starve to death than be caught dead waiting for that damn long for food. âSeriously? Fucking small towns, man.â He scoffed in disbelief, brows furrowed. Did this broad not have food at home that she could cook instead? In his mind, if she fucked off then that meant he would reach the front much faster to actually order the pizza. Stuffing his hands into the pockets of his leather jacket, Syd threw a glance at the clock that told him he was closer to breakfast than dinner at this point. What brought his attention back to her was her comment about great minds thinking alike, which almost made him snort. That he seriously doubted but kept it to himself since he wasnât in the mood to hear her whine when he offended her. âI guess you could say that. Donât remember the pizza being that good enough to form a crowd when I was a kid though,â Syd lightly chuckled at his own joke, flashing her a charming smile. âThey get new owners or what?â
âCute, you think itâs for me. Iâm not hungry.â The vocalistâs deadpan snarking was nothing new, and neither was a display of virulence among any of them â well, two of the band, anyway. ( Sera was⌠Sera, rarely emotionally perturbed, and Ellie was generally as peppy as they came â on the outside. When Ellie was himself, his baby brother was a light in darkness. ) While they were all some of the closest friendships he had ever founded and managed to maintain ( on account of interpersonal relationships and not fucking them up being a rather teetering seesaw of someone with the constant emotional flaying as he ), Cyrek had had some of the worst temper tantrums known to earth to truly bitch and moan. Thus, Sydâs didnât totally perturb him. His neck craned side to side, sorting the cricks and brittle aches from a long day â taking over a shift for an unusually dogsick Stella was not his intended plan, nor was colliding with his coworker ( in multiple avenues, which only meant that like Stella, they probably knew too much about each otherâs personal lives ) not an hour later, this time with Soomi in his arms. The older girls had already been dropped off at school, to his relief. Daddy, whoâs fuckers? His near-five year oldâs quip caused his lips to whirl, though he didnât correct the language. âYou should ask uncle Syd,â he answered, combing his fingers through the girlâs white hair. Her purple eyes were never focused when they stared at the drummer, fluttering here and there â everyone was well enough acquainted with his kids, ensemble and tour entourage alike.
Returning to the accosting query, he shrugged. âI dunno. I could wait forever on this diet.â The half-jest was passive, as no one was unhappier than he with the physical setback â but it did negate the sensation of eternal hunger. âAt least until eight-bit gets cranky, too. I donât think I can handle both of you.â Two truths, one lie? No, no, he was cemented that this was a truth â dealing with conflicts with the band was not his strong suit, as he was more of an instigator in fights from the day he was born and likely until the day that he died. Pacifism in a handful of tasks related to the Bastards was, to a degree, a hypocritical aspect. He eyed his drummer, firm jaw shifting when he clenched it in thought and a wonted sniffle undetected underneath the gab of the restless customers. âI could use the my brother works here cut in line card, but youâd have to hold this crotch gremlin. Sheâs got pica, and I swear if I take one more fuckinâ trip to Urgent Care for some overbilled doctor on insurance I donât have to shove a magnet up her nose, Iâll bloody lose it. I donât care if you take half of what I ordered, as long as you save some for Evie. Deal or no deal?â
.
He didnât give a single fuck who the pizza was for, Cyrek or his miniature clone. What Syd cared more about was feeding himself and wouldâve gladly cut in front of them if it meant getting to the counter faster. The only reason he hadnât already was because them being there allowed him to jump the line to get where he was standing right now. âDonât kids eat anything? Just shove a bag of candy in her face and that should be enough.â He shrugged nonchalantly, not knowing that such a thing would give a child a sugar rush the likes no parent had ever seen before. Throwing a glance at the clock only increased Sydâs impatience, reminding him how he should be in bed with a full stomach after hours at the Sisters. Fucking normies always getting in the way of what he wanted. He nearly cringed at hearing Cyrek call him âUncle Sydâ, a name as revolting as the cheesy pet names women loved to call him but didnât fancy setting off another Cyrek Tantrum for complaining. Thankfully, the kid didnât bother asking him the same question.
A diet. Syd couldnât ever remember a time he heard such a thing come from a guyâs mouth. His father used to call that sissy behavior with it mostly being associated with women but Syd guessed that wasnât the case. Not that he really cared, he didnât give a shit what Cyrek did or didnât put in his body. âReally fucking helpful, Cy.â He threw a glance full of irritation, sarcasm wrapped in every word. One thing his bandmate was right about though was that he wouldnât be able to handle an actual cranky Syd. He was only a few seconds away from saying fuck the whole thing when Cyrek offered up a deal to get what they wanted much faster. âDeal. Just make two separate orders cause Iâm too hungry to share.â Syd didnât hesitate to answer but added his own terms to the deal. All he had to do was wait and hold Soomi for a bit? Not a bad deal at all.
The scoff caught Danny a bit of guard but it made his intrigue in the man only increase. There were not many - aside from himself - that would openly showcase how little they cared over the dead girl. It showed that there was more to this man than just a pretty face and he felt his immediate attraction grow as his curiosity did. âSome one told me tonight that they came here for safety in numbers.â Danny scoffed at the thought, reaching to scratch just under were the rim of his glasses touched his cheeks. âI wouldnât be surprised if the murderer was here among us.â Itâs exactly what he had done in Nashville - people were so gullible. The playful remark caused Danny to smile and shake his head at the other but words failed at a comeback. He couldnât exactly deny it and neither could he say that he hadnât wanted to run into Syd. They both knew that would be bullshit, however, Danny had a feeling that his leftover desire from their first meeting was equally returned by the other.Â
The sound of the pet name rolling off Sydâs tongue cause a rise of heat to rise and settle on Dannyâs cheeks with a pretty flush of pink. A reaction he tried to hide by lowering his gaze momentarily and scratching at the stubble that lined his chin with a small chuckle. For fuckâs sake, he couldnât remember the last time anyone made him blush and yet here he was, acting like a damned idiot over some punk rock drummer. Danny was normally smoother and, more charming than this. He staked his reputation on maintaining control and never faltering with the persona he wanted to get what he desired out of people. Itâs how he was able to get away with everything back in Nashville. And yet, his composure right now was as hard for him to keep controlled as his temper could be. Trying - and failing, but who was really keeping track- to get his cool back, Danny cleared his throat and raised his eyes to meet Sydâs gaze, a smirk curling at the edges of his lips. âI do,â He confessed, finding his footing slightly in this conversation as he stepped a little closer to the other man. Motioning to the bartender, he waited for the guy to approach them before signaling for Syd to order what he wanted. âYou can have whatever you want.â The words were meant as permission for Syd to order anything he wanted, but there was a vein of heavy innuendo that leaked through his words. It wasnât fully intentional but Danny didnât do much to shy away from it.
.
His comment about someone thinking there was safety in numbers in a town as small as Anchorage was the dumbest shit heâd ever heard. For people who lived on the last frontier of a floating iceberg that was the state, it was becoming clear that most of them didnât know the first thing about survival. Mark his words, Anchorage would soon become a ghost town after everyone stupidly got themselves killed. âSafety in numbers. Yeah, thatâs smart.â Syd muttered dryly, surveying the room to hide the roll of his eyes. It seemed it never cross that personâs mind that the killer could easily be among them. All it would take was the power going out for a few seconds for someone to end up dead in the panic. He bet it was woman who had said that from how dumb it was. âWith how small this fucking town is? I wouldnât put it passed the killer.â God, he hated small towns. Why were there so many in this country anyway? Waste of space if you asked him.
Syd had tried. He had tried with everything in him to play along the moment he laid eyes on Danny. It had seemed like fun when it all first started, but the blush plus his little innocent schoolboy act with those damn glasses made it impossible for him to stick to the script. Usually, Syd was never one to back down from a challenge whether it was given to him or he gave it to himself, but this really wasnât one, was it? âI canât fucking do this anymore.â Syd shook his head with a sigh of defeat, returning to fully standing on his feet from leaning against the bar. âHow am I supposed to pretend I donât know you when you act like that and wear those fucking things?!â He gestured to Dannyâs glasses. It had been eight months since heâd seen his wife, and the last thing he wanted was to keep wasting the time he could be spending catching up with Danny on a stupid game.
There were very few things Syd could wait on but this wasnât one of them. Patience had never been his strongest suit, which was why he was on the verge of screaming right now. He had gotten off his shift not too long ago and was now stuck at the pizza joint waiting in line at ass oâclock in the morning for a slice. After spending hours on his feet serving the local drunks at the Sisters, the last thing he wanted to do was cook dinner for himself. Fuck! He missed having food on the table when he returned home. âCâmon, Iâm fucking starving!â Syd complained impatiently, more to himself than anyone else. However, it seemed he wasnât the only one displeased with the long ass line when he heard someone comment on it too. âI know! Look at all these fuckers! Itâs more crowded than the bar.â Syd waved his hand haphazardly at the people in front of him. âHow long have you been waiting for?â @anchoragestartersâ

There wasnât much Daniel expected from this evening, at most good music and a few drinks. However, Danny would have been lying if he said he hadnât been hopeful to run into Syd again. After following the band for a few months, the drummer had caught his ever wandering eyes. Attraction to men wasnât new to Danny per say, but it was still something he was getting himself accustomed to. âYou are - even given the scare over that dead chick,â the eyeroll gave away that Danny didnât particularly care about it, âthereâs still a decent crowd here to watch yâall.â His Tennessee accent peeking out just a tad as he drawled out the last word.
The question itself wasnât disarming as much as the charming smile that had been given to him. The effect of this man had on him was still a mystery that Daniel couldnât crack but man, was he intrigued. He had been since their first meeting. A nervous laugh escaped him and he reached behind to scratch at his neck. âMaybe I am,â Danny quipped with a small smile of his own, easily going along with the forming banter. âCall it a happy happenstance.â It was his own way to try and hide the nerves he felt - even if he knew he wasnât doing his best job at it. Normally, he was much more composed. He hadnât been stalking the drummer per say, but it was an added benefit to being a new fan to this band. Clearing his throat, Danny took a sip of his beer and pushed his glasses back before lifting his eyes back to Syd. Pointing to the water, Danny quirked an eyebrow. âThat all youâre drinking tonight?â
.
A scoff at the mention of the dead woman fell from Sydâs mouth before he could even stop himself. He wished people would stop talking about that fucking chick already. What was so special about her anyway? Clearly not much considering Syd had no clue who the hell she even was nor did he care enough to find out. Like anyone else who ended up dead on the news, she was just another face on the screen and nothing more. However, that eye roll that he had caught from Danny was a sign he wasnât the only one who didnât give a shit. âWhat can I say? Not even a murder could stop our fans from turning up.â Syd bragged just a bit, shrugging a shoulder. Â
His answer came with a nervous laugh that Syd couldnât help but find utterly adorable. He could practically taste the air of innocence and inexperience that surrounded Danny and it fueled Sydâs want to consume it from the first day they met. He hadnât gotten the chance to do so then but Syd was more than determined to find out what he tasted like this time. âA happenstance? Iâd call that bullshit.â He stated bluntly but playfully, flashing that smile of his again. Dannyâs crush on him was obvious from the start but Syd didnât mind, especially not when it came with a pretty face. âWhy? You wanna buy me a drink, sweetheart?â Syd answered the question with a question, the poster boy of cool. On the inside, it was taking everything within him not to drag Danny by the hair into the nearest bathroom when he pushed those fucking glasses higher on his face.

Taking a sip of the last remaining puddle of beer in the bottle, Danny adjusted his glasses on the rim of his nose and shifted his head to look around the place. It was busy but nearly as busy as it normally was - at least not since they found Moniqueâs body. Clearly, the town was spooked. Normal sense would have told him to be a little more cautious and stay home too but the four walls of his home were boring and he itched to do something. Plus, the band playing tonight had caught his attention since he arrived to town six months ago.Â
As the band got off stage, Danny decided that it was time for the second drink of the night and approached the bar. âThat was pretty sick set, huh?â Danny commented to the person he had happened to stand next to at the bar. There was barely a glance in the direction so he couldnât really tell who it was but figured small talk would pass the time as he waited for his drink.
.
The song had officially come to an end with one last slam of the sticks on Sydâs drums. He may not be the frontman of the band, but he made sure to make it known every time he was behind the drums that the beat was under his control and no one elseâs. Still, it surprised him that he had fit back into his place in the band like he never left despite it being awhile since he last played with them. Years spent away from the music shouldâve caused a certain desynchronization between them all but it seemed that wasnât the case much to his relief.
Now that the show was over, Syd shouldâve packed up his things and returned to the safety of his home with a body having been found in town, but couldnât find it in himself to care. So what if some random chick had been killed? People die all the time and he wasnât about to let her death ruin a good time for him. Hopping down from the stage, Syd made a beeline for the bar. Most times he would have liquor but stuck with water this time to hydrate himself, downing it the second the glass was in front of him. It wasnât until he finished it that Syd realized a familiar cute little four eyes next to him had spoken to him. âI know. Weâre pretty good, arenât we?â He turned to fully look at the man, leaning against the bar with a charming smile. âYou stalkinâ me?â
