This is just wrong. The whole DMCA thing just stinks. Because the post has been deleted I don’t know what it is. I don’t know exactly when it was posted. I don’t actually know who i have supposedly ripped-off. How are you meant to challenge this whole guilty-until-proven-innocent crap without knowing what you are actually accused of?

I’ve had enough of spineless faceless entities who run straight to the DMCA rather than just asking nicely to remove content.

I have gone out of my way to credit creators when posting content and this is the thanks i get.

I’ve read tumblr’s email carefully and what it basically says is that anyone can accuse you of copyright infringement and get your tumblr blog taken down. You will not be told what the infringing content is.

Tumblr will shut you down just because someone called “na na” says you’ve infringed on their rights.
