omg hi would love to brainstorm some ideas for the finishing eps of phoenix !! And that goes to anyone who has some ideas I'd love to hear them and try to incorporate as many as possible where they can fit 🫶

how exciting you want to make your own fic and thank you for trusting me with advice on this ahh !!

I personally would say the more information the better with things like character profiles and the background information ! When you're coming up with ideas you could either put them all down in the background info section and later refine them orrrrr do the same thing but get your background information together in a separate doc and then add it into the glimmer storyteller. I would also think about where you want the story to go, maybe multiple story routes if this fits your story ? You can do this really nicely with linking different conclusions to different first turn texts in the following episode.

also what i do a lot before punishing an episode is test it a lot !! Test the multiple possibilities (if this applies) so you know where and how to tweak instructions for each scene. Speaking of, this will help with choosing how many turns the player will have per scene. I see the Scene Instructions as your non negotiables for the scene and the Scene Bits as things the storyteller can throw in to fill out the scene just that bit more ! For writing the Scene Plot you could write it as a general overview and if that works - great ! I find that sometimes when the scene has a long amount of turns though it can sometimes end earlier then you intend with the amounts of turns so at this point I would either: reduce the amount of turns in the scene or add some more info and detail to the scene plot !!

saying that I haven't been hobbying recently but the next ep of Phoenix on Glimmer is very roughly planned lol
