I can imagine what it feels like and why it would be a lot. But you’re not alone, not in the slightest. You have the rest of us and at the bare minimum you have me and I will fight everyone else.

I don’t think any of you had the best pasts, considering most of you are...vampires, so you had to have died. And, I’ve heard Beca’s stories, and some others. But I would never judge you for the things that Katherine did, or the things that you did as a consequence. Even if you look the same, you’re different people. The doppleganger thing is hard to wrap my head around but I know you aren’t the same.

I do take it as a compliment but I’m sure you have other offers too especially for dinner companions. 

No, not really. I mean, my cousin and her sister, and Danielle. But two of those are family, and Danielle and I are together most of the time so it’s not really the same.

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I’ve been pretty reclusive since I got here. So take that I socialize with you as a compliment.

Tatia wouldn’t be too terrible to spend time with, Katherine on the other hand….I want you to actually like me and after her you might be afraid.

It’s all harder for me than I want to admit to, if I’m being honest. I’m...sixteen years younger than my entire family, but everyone including my mother looks like they’re my age. I know she’s happy that I’m here, but it’s kinda hard not feeling like the odd one out in all of this, you know?

I was just wanting to hang out for a little bit, if you have the time. I keep seeing the other people that...look like you and then I think it’s you instead, it’s taking some getting used to.

Honestly? Not well. A lot of alcohol was involved but it got easier when I realized how much I needed my family. But everyone handles it differently.

I keep waiting for someone to jump out and scream that I’m being punked. Even though I’ve seen Monica drink blood and know Elena is a vampire, I feel like I’m losing it sometimes.

That works for me. Honestly if I ever say no to some burgers assume something is wrong.

I’ll keep that in mind.

It does feel like it’s too much to be true. Especially when you toss in all of the supernatural stuff on top of it all. Not that it makes it any easier to handle but I am happy you’re here.

How did you deal with it? At first, I mean. That actually does make it a little easier, though, honestly.

I can understand why. It’s not like this town is close to normal, much less our family.

It’s all been a lot to adjust to. I mean, I’m glad I found our mom and everything, but this...is all more than I expected, you know? Vampires and some curse separating everyone, it’s like something out of a book.

You would think, but I think it's the only way to get the arguing I've been listening to to stop. Honestly, it's a relief to finally see someone sane.
