No, not really. I mean, my cousin and her sister, and Danielle. But two of those are family, and Danielle and I are together most of the time so it’s not really the same.

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I’ve been pretty reclusive since I got here. So take that I socialize with you as a compliment.

I do take it as a compliment but I’m sure you have other offers too especially for dinner companions.

That works for me. Honestly if I ever say no to some burgers assume something is wrong.

You would think, but I think it’s the only way to get the arguing I’ve been listening to to stop. Honestly, it’s a relief to finally see someone sane.

How about we go get your mind off of the insanity for you?

I don’t think it gets more mainstream normal teenager than that, so sounds great. 

We can even toss a sundae on as a dessert to really round out that normal teenage experience.

I’ll have to take you up on that. Normalcy of any kind would be a good thing right now.

I don’t know either, but it’s not only you. I never really…fit back home, either. Even if being here only made life way more complicated.

People can be jerks. There were a few of those back home, too. Mystic Falls is way more terrifying, but I think all things considered probably add to that.

Yeah I feel like there’s different things that make this place even worse, but there are some perks.

What was so scary about the last one?

There was this one guy that liked to try and make himself seem tougher by threatening literally everyone. Which doesn’t even compare to this place.

I don’t know if I’d go that far, I can only speak from experience. But it’s nice to meet you.
