Hey dear 🥹 I m so sorry it took me this long to answer. Taking this opportunity for a little update. I haven't forgotten about you all, and I'm so sorry I didn't update my fics...

I'm going through the worst rn and everyday is a struggle... my contract ends in less than 2 months, I can't find another job, almost was homeless (will be if i dont find sth asap), and cannot afford food after the 20th. Family is hell, and I have barely any strength left... so yeah, hanging there, but creativity was hard to come by.

His thumb hovers above the screen. He scrolls. Re-reads. The corner of his mouth lifts. Surely his guardian angel died, because the hunger is unbearable. But then again, Bradley’s there, now, sending him texts all day, sending his heart into a frenzy. Now Jake lives with the memory of Bradley’s kisses and the ecstatic hope that he’ll get to taste those lips again. Now he lives with a desire so big he doesn’t know what to do with it.

A fic I've read multiple times

The first fic that came to my mind is cinnamon and sugar by bottledyarn (couldn't find their Tumblr!). I just love how Bradley takes care of a very very sick Jake. I also re-read in the dark by @torchflies several times. This fic is absolutely spectacular and unique. (I don't wanna say to much, just trust me!)

2. A fic which made me laugh

Sugar by @akay19 !!! This has to be the funniest fic I've EVER read. There's so much to say about this fic... I was waiting for each updates with bated breath. The whole fic is an absolute delight. Bradley is a struggling student because he left home after Mav and Ice pulled his papers and Jake is a rich golden boy with a sensitivity well hidden by his money. I laughed my ass off so many times.

5. A fic I think more people should read

What's it take to get your number? by @katiesharms. I already mentioned this fic somewhere. Bradley's an ER doctor and Jake keeps asking him out. I love it so much! Go read it you will not be disappointed!

10. A fic which haunts me

All the ways you can be a father by @akay19. The writing's absolutely splendid. I was crying by the end. It's simple and just heart wrenching. I still think about it. Please go read it if you haven't yet.

Favorite color: I honestly don't know. Many I guess. I love le bleu roi (royal blue in English?) you find in the old painting of kings. I love the color of skin on Botticelli's paintings and the green on Tamara de Lempicka's Girl with Gloves. Last Song: Not fade Away/Goin' down the Road Feeling Bad - The Grateful Dead. An utter delight 🎶 Currently Reading: Mostly poetry. Mary Oliver, Blake, some Neruda, Kerouac, Hugo... Soothes the soul. As for fics, I'm currently reading tell me, what's the perfect time by @roosterseresin and loving it! Also re-reading whiskey neat by the wonderful @lcahwriter. I recently finished reading what's it take to get your number? by @katiesharms and absolutely loved it. Currently Watching: Blue Lights & Pluribus (but mostly movies). Currently Craving: you know what? good meat. I need a Texan brisket or sth à la Glen. Coffee or Tea: Coffee all the way. I would NOT survive on this earth without coffee. Also don't try and talk to me before I've got at least a cup in me.

3. what fandoms do you write for?

Right now Top Gun and only that.

5. do you respond to comments?

I used to respond to every single comment I got and then I stopped because it got so overwhelming. I try to answer from time to time, especially when the comments are long.

6. what's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Uh. I don't think I'd be capable of writing a non-happy ending. So no fic to mention here. But maybe I'll try it out.

7. what's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

The ending is not written yet, but Hail Mary will be probably get the happiest ending I've ever written.

8. do you get hate on fics?

I did, at some point, because I wrote the torture trope too well. Some people just don't read the tags.

9. do you write smut?

Yeah! I used to hate it but I now see it as a means for character development in longer fics.

10. do you write crossovers?

I don't think I can and I don't think I will. The idea just sounds profoundly exhausting.

11. have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of! Fingers crossed it never happens...

12. have you ever had your fic translated?

Someone asked me if they could translate my most popular fic and I haven't answered yet... oops...

13. have you ever co-written a fic before?

Never! This is not something I think I'd be good at. Writing is a deeply personal experience for me and I don't know how that could work. I WOULD however love to write FOR someone. I'd love for someone to give me the ideas of a plot and write it.

14. what's your all-time favorite ship?

This question's so hard to answer! Right now: hangster, definitely. But overall I think Alfie & Tommy from Peaky Blinders. These two are just too close to my heart.

15. what's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Pffff, too many. I don't think I'll ever finish the hangster time travel fic I worked on if I ever post it. (might shorten it and make it 3-parts)

16. what are your writing strengths?

Probably that what I post is 'well written'? I try really hard on the language part of fics. Idk if that makes sense. Sometimes the poetical aspect and rhythm of the sounds' more important to me.

17. what are your writing weaknesses?

Same answer as above? Sometimes I get lost in my poetical experimentation. I also struggle with pace sometimes. Oh, and definitely with some dialogues.

18. thoughts on writing dialogue in another language?

I love it, but I don't think it's necessary in the fics that I write right now. I love to include it when it makes sense.

20. favorite fic you've ever written?

Definitely the hangster mafia AU I'm currently writing, called My Terrible Darling. It's a mafia AU but there are Christmas vibes and I'd never written characters falling so fast for each other. The writing's just a thrill ride.

There’s a handgun in the pocket of his coat, hanging not far from Jake. He doesn’t mention it either. He says instead with a chuckle that yes, he does wear glasses when reading. That he should wear them all the time, really. Jake bursts out laughing. He loves it. It’s all terribly light. He keeps lying.
