*Sprocket had locked herself in her workshop…all the lights off as she sits on the floor with her back on the workbench.…… Gearshift and Punk Shock had invited her to a large Pride Festival being held at Metallana…But Sprocket gave the weak excuse that she had to change the treads on her tank……in actuality, she was guilt-driven. Goldlings were never known for accepting queer people. Often using their riches to halt parades or launch protests against them... and her mother and father were no different. She still remembered her parents dragging her to a protest where they threw tomatoes and rocks at people taking part in a Pride Parade. Everytime she thought about going. She just kept thinking about those memories…there's no chance a Goldling should walk into a celebration of queer people……not after everything that Goldlings have done.*

🔧"I have no place in a celebration like that……I don't deserve to."

*She soon heard a knock on the door…and a voice on the other side.*

"Hey Sprocket. You in there?"

*It was Boomer, he, Voodood, and Ghost Roaster were heading to volunteer as cooks for a large charity race with the money going to Pride Charities. Seems they didn't leave yet.*

🔧"…………leave me be Boomer."

"Come on. You never sound like that in your Workshop. I can tell somethings up."

🔧"I……I'm fine……"

"……Open the door or I'll blow it up."

*Theres nothing for a bit……but the lock finally is undone as she peaks her saddened face out to stare…or attempt to.*

"Oh Sprocket…what's going on?"

🔧"I……I don't deserve to go to the festival …"

"What makes you say that?"

🔧"I…I'm…I'm a Goldling."

"What does that have to do with literally anything?"

🔧"D-do-don't you know what Goldlings have done? The amount of homophobic and transphobic actions that Goldlings have taken part in and EVEN STARTED!?"

*As she yelled, tears flooded her eyes as she shame and hate for her own species finally showed themselves.*

🔧"I shouldn't Be There! A Symbol Of Hatred Like Me…"

*She turns away as her tears freely drop.*

"……Heh. I know the feeling all too well…"

🔧"…R-right. I guess you know it better than me………H-how do you breath with the guilt?"

*He took a deep breath as he began to talk.*

"Okay, I won't lie. People are gonna make an assumption off their first glance…even on the second and third glance too."

"But something I learned years ago…don't let the actions of your species define who you see yourself as. I'm not defined by my species, YOU'RE not defined by your species."

🔧"What about what ot-"

"They're going to see a Skylander celebrating with them. If anyone gives ya crap, they don't deserve your time."

*It was a long silence before Anyone spoke again…till Sprocket whispered.*

🔧"…I-I should go to that festival then…shouldn't I?"

"Probably. Need a ride to Metallana?"

🔧"…yeah…"

*She wipes her eyes and dusted herself off before saying one more thing to Boomer as she left the room.*

🔧"Boomer……Thanks for everything."

"Glad to help."

*She had gotten to the festival a half hour ago. And she was having a blast. She didn't feel like everyone was judging. Quite the opposite. But the best thing she sees…two Goldling girls…wrapped up in a lesbian flag scarf.*
