Im Skye(just a silly artist)

So i just received a comment from one of my posts and told me to message them, i was wondering why and thought it was an ask so i did and then they told me that they “reported” my account cause a dupe/fake account had the same name, profile etc. as mine and “scammed” them for their money.

Of course i was conflicted cause i have never done that in my entire life and it’s also my first time experiencing something like this.

They then told me to contact this discord account called “Eli Tucker” claiming they’re one of tumblr’s help services, admin bla bla you know it. I was worried for my account because it is very dear for me, so i complied and what do you know?

WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD AN AGENT ASK FOR YOUR EMAIL AND PASSWORD???

And the i knew that this was a fraud, if i gave them my email and password then they would’ve hacked my account and gotten hold of it to spread more fake rumors about other peoples accounts.
