THE FALCON

now  they  were  getting  SOMEWHERE  .  finally  .  bucky  felt  his  lips  thin  &&  then  gave  a  huff  .  alright  .  that’s  all  he  needed  to  know  .  his  hand  ADJUSTED  the  leather  glove  on  his  right  hand  &&  he  ran  his  tongue  over  his  back  teeth  .

“  ah  so  you  do  have  a  plan  ——–  was  just  CHECKING  because  if  you  run  in  without  one  ,  i’m  left  cleaning  up  after  your  ass  ,  ”  came  the  retort  before  falling  into  reigns  of  silence  .  “  it’s  a  good  plan  .  honestly  —-  but  we’re  meant  to  be  partners  .  you  GOTTA  tell  me  these  things  .  ”  he  lifted  his  gun  from  his  holster  &&  checked  the  magazine  .  

“  five  minutes  .  let’s  go  ,  ”

he thought that bucky would tell him the plan’s not gonna work and that he did indeed have a better idea. but he noticed that when that huff left his lips, bucky was going to accept it. 

“relax, i can think things through.”

sam still had to get used to being around bucky, now that steve was off doing other things, somehow the two of them ended together. it wasn’t initially bad but they could clash quite often. which has its pros and cons.

there was a tilt of his head. partners. that’s what they are nowadays, partners... it’s strange but doesn’t sound necessarily wrong. he should trust him.

“yeah, i should’ve. next time i will.” 

“not necessarily. we’re still working on the whole red stone thing. i’m just here to build stuff and make the world look pretty.” alice saved her game and shut the computer. okay, so showing him their attempt at a cool redstone project had been a bust, but whatever. “still cool though, right?”
