Lost For Words

I’m sorry if I get sad over silly things, I’m sorry that I will struggle. I know for a while I won’t trust you either. Please believe me when I tell you that it’s not your fault. It won’t be your fault. It never will be. Please pay attention to me, I won’t tell you when something’s wrong. I won’t come to you about it. And most likely I’ll try to shut you out when you ask me about it. I’m sorry. I can’t help it. I’m so used to being hurt and being on my own. I don’t tell people things. Just tell me stupid things or keep talking like nothings happened. I promise, it’ll make me feel better. 

I’ll want you to fight for me. I’ll want you to show me off. Love me. Be proud of me. Even though I’d never admit that. And hopefully by the time I find you I’ll have bettered myself so I can do the same.

I’ll be your shoulder to cry on. Your partner in crime. The one to cheer you up. The one to annoy you. The one to fight for you. I’ll fight for you until you don’t want me anymore. 

I may not be the perfect girlfriend and I know I’ll mess up. But I promise you, I have so much love to give and so much kindness. I’ll do everything I can to make you happy. Because you’ll be mine and I’ll be yours, and that thought alone makes me happy.
