In the age of information, too much freedom is given to us. Some of us tend to take advantage of this freedom and use it to either benefit from it or just enjoy the effects it can generate. For the longest time, fake news are considered to be very dangerous and can be easily compared to fake people since both can ruin others’ lives. The only difference is that fake news spreads like wildfire and can be viewed from all around the world with the help of the internet. The aim of my quote is to spread awareness of these fake news to minimize or avoid the harmful effects of false information.

The fact that there are still those who turn to Google to learn more about their “dangerous” symptoms is unsettling thus making this a good example of information illiteracy.
