"Yes," She said quietly, turning around to show him the scars in the middle of her back, and where her wings protruded. They were from where the skin tore open, since the skin around the wings was so thin it sometimes ripped open and when it healed it often left scars. Magdalena didn’t feel him touch her wings, the feathers and the bone like structures they were attached to didn’t have any nerves in them, that was only at the base. 

Under his eye it was a botched surgery. He would have done it so much better, though he would never try to alter a human being like that. He would take skin and bone but he would not let someone live in a condition he had left them in. Though the death would be painful it would be dragged out. He wouldn't call it mercy but he wouldn't consider himself a monster. "There are ways of fixing that—  for a price, of course."

She looked up at a man, an ordinary man in glasses and a glow in his eyes when he looked at her. Magda looked down at him from where she stood on her stage, they were the only two in her tent as it was a slow day today, He was asking how it was done, and all she could do was shrug. "I…I was very young, I know it was surgery, but not know how is done." She said quietly, wanting to avoid the subject but what the customer wanted the customer wanted. And if she answered questions and let him touch her…he might come back. And God knew that they needed the money.
