the first day of life in the sky
Day 362 of my stay in the Celestial Crystal Castle.
The way I arrived in Heaven was as beautiful as it was extraordinary.
One day, back in the past, while wandering through a quiet park, I came across a small pond. Its water was impossibly clear, so pure that it shimmered beneath the sun's rays. It didn't seem to reflect the lightβit seemed to be the light's very source.
Curious, I leaned closer for a better look. But I lost my balance and fell in.
To my astonishment, I never struggled to swim, nor did my feet ever find the bottom. More strangely still, I wasn't even wet. I could breathe as though the water itself welcomed me.
When I finally gathered the courage to open my eyes, I was embraced by a brilliant white lightβpure, gentle, and innocent. It surrounded me completely.
Little by little, I began to make out clouds beneath my feet.
I was descending from the heavens.
Lower and lower...
Until the roof of a castle came into view. It was dazzling white, immaculate, glowing with the same ethereal radiance as the water of the pond that had brought me here.
Everything was wrapped in clouds.
